OPEN TO ALL : Wakandan Braai




T'Challa invited you to a barbecue and he intends to give you that. While he's spared no expense on the menu and food, the atmosphere is surprisingly lacking any real pomp and circumstance. It's your standard backyard barbecue, it just happens to have a meat carving station and a jungle made of carved fruit.

But it has paper plates and cups, a variety of bottled beverages (adult and otherwise). It's the menu where T'Challa (or more his in house chef) is flexing.

The menu includes a variety of meats: boerewors (a South African sausage), beef ribs, peri peri chicken, grilled bluefish, and more exotic ones, primarily kudu and crocodile steaks (with other game baked into braai pies or made to order</a>). There's not so much to speak on for sides: They can grill corn, mushrooms, lamb and apricot sosaties on skewers, a grilled potato salad, and have bread available. So maybe you brought sides that aren't meat! But they do have a nice spread for dessert between the carved fruit, marshmallows, grilled bananas with oak-smoked chocolate frozen mousse, and orange slices sauted in a star anise butterscotch sauce.
