Morningstar Manor - where the plot never stops

.... I'm just hugely busy. We are getting ready to move the kiddos into their own rooms. Which means we bought two new beds which are being delivered on Saturday. It also means the disaster that is currently the playroom will be my daughter's room and therefor must be cleaned and ready for the new beds. Of course their current bedroom (to be my son's room) needs the same thing. So that's where I've been this week. Getting kids off to school in the morning and trying to go through the mounds of toys and decide what is going to Good Will, what is being tossed and what is staying and getting things ready for the weekends redo.

I'll be on Tues (tonight) and Weds night during my radio show but I'm usually slow to tag during that - depending on how busy things are. I'm sorry for dropped threads, really I am. Next week, hopefully, things will be more normal.

Okay this week is going to be hard for playing. I will try, I promise, but I have to go to my mom's and help her with some filing for their home building company and I'm not sure how many days that'll take. Then the kids start school on Monday so I'm getting last minute things ready. And I've taken a job as a substitute crossing guard so I'll be out all day Thursday for my training. Then Friday is 'meet the teacher' night in addition to me needed to get to Ft Worth (an hour away) for a concert.

*headdesk*

However next week it's back to school schedules which means peace and quiet in my house for several hours a day. Yay! The other however is that I'm also needing to get the playroom totally cleaned out because we're moving my daughter into that room so the kids will have their own rooms. And then - we're getting a kitten and a puppy. *headdesk again*

So - this week is pretty much a bust for playing except for first thing in the morning while I have coffee and wake up and a bit in the later afternoon/evening. If you need me or want to set something up just ping. I'll have my IM on via my phone even when I'm not home.

Going to be really sloooowwwww tonight folks so sorry to Kel, Maru, Elina and Jen. We've got a heating engineer coming to the house first thing in the morning and I think you will all understand my current situation when I say that he plans to go into every single room in the house!! We've had 10 days notice and have done a lot but all the last minute stuff has to be done by nine am tomorrow. My daughter, needless to say, is still at the dragging things out and looking at them stage.

I will check for tags each time I go past, 'kay? Am planning to yoyo because, grrr, i need something to brighten my night.
