Saturday 29th

http://asylums.insanejournal.com/morningstar_mnr/581828.html - the Reception. Sadly the happy couple are a bit scarce, but Roxy chats to Manny and Marek. Erik, Deacon, Demitri, Andy, Charlie, Del, Jimmy and Kris come to pay their respects. Andras takes photos and Emily and Thomas are there to provide food and drink. Vincenzo drops by to see how it's going and takes some time to chat to Emily. Memphis and Palug bewail the lack of meat. Jazz dances. Kris chats to Demitri. Deacon and Charlie dance. Lucas and Emma chat. Savannah and Charlie talk.
Then finally the Plot - dah-duhn-duhhhhnnnnnn! Jane has had a drink too many and when Thomas snarks, she snarks back and he replies in the vilest terms. He is overheard and punched soundly on the nose and knocked down. Poor Jane is devastated by the violence and has to be helped away by Cleo, while Thomas slinks away to try and stop his nosebleed. Cleo texts Jazz who is torn - does she go and look after her friend? Or go and see if Thomas is badly hurt? she opts for Thomas, sensibly taking napkins and ice in her normal DDG™ way. She finds him on a bench bleeding and after the obligatory snark, cleans him up and puts him right about Jane. He can't see why Jane would have friends, like Jazz, to come to defend her and Jazz points out that, in her experience, Jane is a wonderful warm caring loving person, the inference being that Thomas isn't."You have no friends and nobody likes you" though not in so many words. And Thomas finally gets it. Yes, he finally realises that actually he's probably a bit of a shit and probably deserved a poke in the snoot and is filled with chagrin [no Stephanie Mayer does NOT have sole right to use that word!] and feelings of unworthiness and great, if unexpressed joy, that she [Jazz not Stephanie Mayer] has cared enough to look after him. In fact she carries on caring because in order to spare him further humiliation she suggests a way out where he's unlikely to be seen.
Finally Jason cynically wonders how long the marriage will last and wishes it had been him who'd hit Avery [because he's still carrying a Jazz shaped torch, poor man].

Sunday 30th

Monday 31st
