Summary for 15th to 21st August, 2009
A fairly short list of threads this week but there's some very good plot.

On the list we have sibling rivalry and descent into madness with the Wentworths, the continuing saga of love denied from Jazz and Thomas, this week involving the increasingly complex love life of Isabella Rossi who has enough on her plate, one might think, with Trevor and Micah, Emily's dilemma re Gregori, Smith and Laura finding out more about each other and Roxy preparing for wedded bliss next weekend! But - BUT - but - no smut!! Okay there's Erin and Niles in a room together and the thread only half done so you may get your jollies from that in the fullness of time but otherwise ... Guys, you're slipping. Really.




Saturday 15th

Toby and Jos join them to do the uber-prettyx2 thing and they talk about pay and stuff. Also Amarie arouses techno-lust in Ricky and Ashley by showing them a Wyrm PDA.

Monday 17th

Oh these two, deeply flawed though they both are in their own way, are just made for each other, but that won't stop Micah letting Isabella shag Max on holiday cuz otherwise Max might hand them their asses in a bag. Looks like there's going to be some uber-angsty bonking in a week or too. The thread ends with Isabella wanting to look after Micah's injuries, and that's a first.

He has to get her out of there in a hurry and it was nice to see the tiger cat respond sensibly in a crisis rather than coming over all feminist and stroppy. Also, even though he's so angry it's obvious he'd like to pinch her head off, he plainly cares - deeply.

You really need to read it even if only for the masterly way Gregori's English deteriorates as he slips further into Russian sex god mode. Anyhow, for those who can't be arsed, As things get heated Emily, inexplicably to my mind, decides she'd sooner stick with what she's already got, rather than accepting the many gifts Gregori has to offer [a mun with a serious attitude to writing smut for instance]. Poor Emily - but poor Gregori too. It just doesn't seem fair.

Eris senses the - tenseness - and offers to take him to a place where he can let all the tenseness out. This relieves Joe enough for him to be quite garrulous, for him, when he is accosted by Laura who has been using her spidey-senses to sense the tense! Over coffee she coaxes more info out of him and admits to being just a little bit - okay a LOT - special herself.


Wednesday 19th

There the good fortune ends, however, as Savannah cuts herself while loading the knife block. Bad luck, huh? Just you wait.

Thursday 20th

Friday 21st

But he's a hopeful sort and offers to move the show to the City - which would be a grand idea, actually - and hopes she might reconsider. That he considers beating up Vinnie, Russian chefs probably have close combat training due to needing to wrestle the mooses into the pot, for assuming that Greg slept with Emily is a little baffling since that's what he tried to do, but hey, we all have our own ways of dealing with disappointment.

There the plot fairy insists that he sits by Vinnie [not Vincenzo - I had to wrestle him back into his cage because there was no way he was going to take threats of physical violence from a chef]who he tells off, threatens, patronises and generally puts right about Emily. Vinnie takes it like a good little soldier and, despite Vincenzo's IC howls of outrage, admits to having ignored all Emily's voicemails and decides to leave Emily to stew a few days more - until Elina's schedule is clear enough for her to play again. Gregori makes more threats and offers to make them a wedding cake [shotgun to the back of the neck much?] and graciously accepts Vinnie's help into a cab to return him to the Empress. Never fear, though - I'm assured he will be back!
