Ewww! - and goes to get himself some food. While he's gone it's proved that not just men appreciate Jazz's looks, Anghara tells her she's gorgeous too. They have quite a chinwag and obviously relish each others company, exchanging details and Jazz asks Anghara to help her get her car shipped back from Switzerland. So now Ang HAS to go back to work before Rutherford term starts.

Truly being a super-person is no bed of roses - they either catch fire or they freeze. No greenfly though.

In fact barbeque activity is still SO frantic nobody else works up the energy to post at all.

Monday 25th May

Adam is left alone to fret about his gloves and lipstick. Er - that isn't like it sounds. Though I do wonder why, if pristine white gloves are THE thing for the Marine Corps, Adam didn't just put them in his pocket to pull on later? I guess you have to be a Marine to understand.

There's possibly a little favouitism because he's made arrangments to take Jazz out to celebrate but then she IS a special case and he has been supervising her rise to respectability. Her being gorgeous and double-jointed has NOTHING to do with it. Spencer is devoted to Roxy, oh yes.

And then it turns out that the barbeque isn't to blame but the City version of CMOT Dibbler. My day has officially been made. That guy and his falafel MUST attend all our outside events fom now on.

Then Jimmy arrives and is equally offensive in a very different way. Luckily Emma comes to take the nasty tastes away and looks after him with her usual sweet efficiency. Ben is actually very sweet! I hope he finds his feet soon.

She is horrified to hear that he's going to Iraq and he finds her scared concern really touching. Naturally there's also a little fireplay going on because when you've had the best nothing less will do. In the end she's so upset she runs away before they melt anything.

I think everyone in it suffers equal amounts of excruciating to read embarrassment. This is a plot that could have enormously entertaining fall out if Roxy gets wind that Spencer is wining and dining an employee tete a tete in the City's most prestigious restaurant when he hasn't taken her there yet. I think I'd want to know what my fiance was playing it. I think I'd be incredibly pissed and then I'd completely blame myself for not being doublejointed.
