October 7, 2020 - Ruddy Homework
Who:  Danny, open
Where: Ravenclaw commons
When: Late evening
Rating: PG?
Status: Open, ongoing
Summary:... i don't do those

He realized this was last minute, this whole finishing his homework thing, and that staying up later than usual scrawling on the last inch of parchment or so wasn't really going to improve things, but the last thing Danny wanted was another bloody lecture about responsibility or something, whether it be from his Mum and Dad or one of the professors here.  He got passable marks, really he did.  Well.  In most classes, anyways,  If there weren't so much ruddy writing involved, he'd be far more cheerful about it all, he thought as he plunked a period down on the last sentence and sat back in his chair to reread.

Right, so it sounded like a lot of rubbish, but it also sounded a lot like what the Professor had said, so he was calling it a job (partly) well done.  Or done, at least.  He waited for the ink to dry a bit before begining to roll the paper up, tossing it unceremoniously into his bag and leaning back in the chair again.

Right.  What now?

He laughed softly against the pillow. "Biased because I benefit from you doing this to me more often?" He exhaled a soft sigh as he relaxed against the bed.

"Suppose I'll owe you something later?" Tris murmured, his voice already slurring a little.

He worked his way up to Tristan's shoulders, massaging deeply into his flesh, shifting his body so that he was more fully over the other boy, at a better angle. He grinned a little as he heard the sleepiness in his voice, tempted to wake him up by dragging his knuckles along Tris' spine. Chuckling to that, he resisted temptation.

"Suppose you will," he agreed, "I'll have to think of something really good." He paused, making an amused noise. "Unless you surprise me with something."

He snorted, then laughed quietly. "Surprise you with something. Dangerous words, given who you're talking to," he mumbled into his pillow.

"Think up something really good," he encouraged, grinning faintly, his eyes closed, his breathing evening out slowly.

He laughed at that, digging in extra hard where he happened to be working as a matter of comeuppance.

"I will," he promised as he finished up, wiping his hands off on his jeans before easing off of Tristan and onto the bed beside him. "Better?" he asked, grinning a bit.

Sure, he wasn't a trained healer or anything, but he thought he'd done a good enough job. Well, he'd enjoyed himself anyways, never mind what Tristan had thought.

Tristan snorted an enormously fake snore before he opened his eyes. "Better," he agreed with a grin. "Thanks," he murmured before he closed his eyes again.

He wondered if Danny would want to hang around, and if he should try to stay awake for it if he did.

Danny stretched out on what there was left of Tris' bed that the other boy was laying on and contemplated going back to his own bed. He kind of figured Tristan would pass out anyways, so maybe it didn't really matter if he came or went.

"Gonna pass out on me over there?" he teased, nudging him lightly, chuckling a little.

If that was the plan, though ... he thought he'd just go.

"Quite possibly," he agreed before he lifted his head slightly, enough to lean over to kiss him softly. "I'll owe you tomorrow though?" he offered with a sleepy grin as he dropped his head back onto the pillow. "You can stay if you want. Don't think anyone in here's going to care."

"Sure," he agreed to both, though he wasn't really going to differentiate which.

Well, if he was going to sleep, he might as well get comfortable. He stripped down to his boxers before stretching out again.

"'Night," he murmured, stifling a yawn.

"Night," he mumbled in response, making himself comfortable against Danny, grinning a little. He did sort of wonder if they'd get in trouble for this, but doubted it. He was just ... in the wrong room. Not like he was in the wrong commons.
