Characters: Annavieve and Gabriel
Location: Nirvana
Time: Sunday Evening - Sunday 8/28
Summary: Watching the original Nightmare On Elm Street on the big screen
Status: In Progress
Warnings: TBD

Annavieve was curled up on one of the seats, all comfy and cozy, as the movie ran on the big screen that took up a long stretch of wall. She could have posed herself in front of one of the computers supers had access to within the room, but she wasn't in the mood to be bored. She wanted to be entertained, and that was what the horror movie now on the big screen tended to do for her. This wasn't an exclusive viewing as she knew anyone could wander in at any moment, but for now the room was vacant, save for herself, and the television at her sole control. Just the way she liked things most of the time. Whether it was in one of the super accessible rooms, or her own that she shared with another, Annavieve liked it more when she had spaces all to herself.

Repositioning herself, legs stretched out their full length, Anna laid herself out the full span of a couple of seats, resting her head on a bent arm as the movie hit its midway point. This had been when the film got most interesting for her when she saw a first screening of the movie. Not at a theater, of course, but via a dvd that had been set up to play. How many times had she seen the movie since, she could not recall, but each time she managed to watch it since always had a smile tugging when certain parts of the movie played before her. It was pure horror for most, as she had come to realize, but for her the movie held little specks of amusement she couldn't help but smirk at.

It took Gabriel a moment to get what she said, and he had to think about it before he understood--mostly--what she'd said. Boredom and a curious nature led to learning many different things over the course of his years there, and he was very rusty with it. It didn't seem that she cared if he caught it or not.

One shoulder lifted in a shrug. "Maybe so. But there's no reason to back down from a challenge. To not try."

A piercing scream from the screen made his attention flick there for a moment before returning to her. "Would you rather be left alone or would you mind company?"

The only acknowledgement she gave to his responding comment was a gruff shrug of her shoulders. He did have a point, though. You could not know what you could handle and what was impossible to capture unless you challenged yourself.

That piercing scream that had caught Gabriel's momentary attention made Annavieve smirk. It was an odd thing about her, though Anna would never make any excuses about it. People just needed to accept it about her, that horror films were more like comedies to her. Nowhere near the scary or horrifying films that scared most people almost to death, and gave them nightmares while they slept.

When she first arrived at Ghost Corp, Anna would have answered that inquiry with an immediate wish to be left alone. Now that she had been with the company for a little bit of time, Anna was more tolerant of the company of others. You are welcome to stay. Responding with sign, and a semblance of a smile to the man. She had seen the movie countless of times, and did not need to be engrossed in it to know what was going on. Company was not always a bad thing, and she could watch the movie pretty much any time she desired.
