There were a lot worse things she could be doing back home then what she was about to do right now, which was throw a bunch of things in a bag and adventure out into the night to explore the landscape of a planet she had no idea what was on it besides the people she'd encountered on the resort.

Talking to herself Mercy went in circles trying to find some more clothing to stuff in her gym bag which was nicely replicated on the planet, nicely jammed under her bed where it always was. “Shirt, shirt..need another shirt.” She chanted as she walked around her room taking one from the floor giving it a sniff then shoved it in her bag, it was a little disturbing that the planet manged to capture the sent of her ignored laundry that littered the bedroom floor.

“I swear I'm going to turn around next and come face to face with that damed walking stick or Stephan cracking and appearing out of no where to tell me his latest musing.” She sighed, she missed home dearly and this place was like a taunting reminder but she didn't think she could handle changing her room to look like something else so she'd deal.

She'd planned to meet Faith outside the main building leaving them ample time to get going before the sun went down though neither of them seemed to have an issue with roaming around at night so this was a good time as any to head out to become one with nature all over again. So far Mercy liked this Faith girl she seemed tough and tough girls were a rare item back in Kennewick except for Honey, one of the female wolves and Jane from her kick boxing class. It was about time she thought she'd make a friend a girl had to have at least one to knock around with.

Her gym bag was slung over her shoulders wearing it on her back in the most comfortable way she could see fit without splitting her spine, an adventure that didn't lead to a grizzly death was a warm welcome to her world. She spotted the lighter haired woman and smiled then gave a rather dorky wave. “Hey! You ready? Oh, I brought along something cool to show off to you, and just in case we need it.” Mercy pulled a very exquisite looking blue jeweled dragger from it's case on the belt loop in her jeans. “Girl can't leave home with out a mini magical sword now can she?” Mercy smirked looking into the wide brown eyes of the other woman.

Mercy couldn't help but giggle at the other woman she did a damn good hick impersonation and added with some of her own. “Dang it Martha May, dat's all wea bin eatin'! can't we have squirrel tonight?” She huffed exonerating and cracked up again. This she decided was going to be a lot of fun especially since Faith was turning out to be a rare breed of chick that actually got along with her.

She nodded listening to Faith talk about Spike walking along the path twigs, rocks and dirt crunching under their sneakers. “When I got near him earlier today I picked up a little ode to bullshit, sound about right?” She snickered. “Ah gotta love those vampires.” She rolled her eyes sarcastically. “I was once strapped to the seethe's truth chair you can't lie while on it because of it's magic and the fact that your hands are pushed down over metal spikes, blood gives the thing it's power. It pretty much can decipher if the memories in ones head of an event are planted there or fact, and I was on the chopping block over dead vampires.”

“So that's how it works hmm? One chosen one until she kicks the bucket then others are anointed in that position. I'm guessing you and this Buffy never got along? Or is something else I sense when you speak of her then disregard and spite?” She questioned and hoped it wasn't too much of a touchy topic to be asking the woman but she seemed cool enough and besides this seems like sharing hour.

“I can't imagine what it must be like for Zee or anyone else to be in there really if they deserve it or not, you step in there and suddenly you are not human anymore and you have no rights, they do what ever they like to prisoners and treat them like caged animals. Zee could also escape as he pleased he has the power over metals and could slip through the bars in a flash, he won't because something like that is below him.” She sighed a little thinking about her friend then was distracted by the caves as they came closer.

Mercy lead the way she could see abnormally well in the dark but for the sake of Faith she turned to the planet for a little assistance. “Planet can we have a little light?” With her request there was a small flicker and white lights that looked like a string of Christmas lights were strung along the cave walks lighting the place. Mercy stopped for a second and turned to Faith. “Do you hear water?” Fallowing the lights inside the cave as they got deeper they had come to something that looked miraculous. Before them was a huge waterfall that flowed into a pond, the stream ran off into another deeper cave opening and disappeared into the darkness.

She stopped and looked at it in awe, it was beautiful and almost glowing with the jeweled rocks beaded into the cave walls of many dark colours, purple, reds, greens and oranges, some were clear as well. “Holy mother of god!” She yelled in running closer to the water. “Come on swim with me! And this is definitely where we are staying.”

Faith just smirked for a second and then shook her head. "Naw, c'mon now... you know all the squirrels done got poisoned again." She was actually quite amused, and flashed a grin at the other woman. This one didn't take herself too seriously, which was definitely something that Faith looked for in someone she hung out with.

Mercy's description of Spike amused her as well. "Yeah, kinda. He's not so bad, though. Way better than Angel." She wrinkled up her nose, remembering how annoying the dark-haired vampire had been. She honestly couldn't really stand to be around him. Spike might have a soul, but he was a lot more interesting than Angel would ever be. "He's a badass, you know? It's alright." She shook her head. "Man, that sucked. There would have been some serious slay-age if anyone had done that shit to be."

There was a long pause as she walked toward the cave mouth, and she thought about what Mercy had said. "B is... alright, I guess. She's just way uptight, you know? Not really able to find the fun." She bit her lower lip for a second. "But, like, whatever. No big. I'm here, she isn't. And anyway, the whole Slayer thing isn't an exclusive club anymore."

They stopped in the flickering lights, both just staring for awhile. Faith wasn't awed by much, in fact she tended to make fun of things other people found touching. But this was enough to even shut her up for a few moments. And when she did speak, all she could seem to say was "Woah." in a sort of quiet voice.

She pulled herself out of it soon enough, of course. She was good at rallying after pretty much anything, including rare beauty. "Well, this doesn't suck..." She started stripping of her clothing, since she hadn't brought a bathing suit. Whatever, Mercy could deal with it. It wasn't the first time or the last that Faith had gone swimming naked. Rushing past Mercy, she dove into the water and shivered in delight.

"Wicked, man! It's freezing!" But she was thrilled, really, and quickly swam across the pool. "Hey, girl! Over there!" She pointed to a nearby steaming pool, clearly some sort of hot springs.
