Day 29 Arrival.

It had been a pretty normal day for Lucas. He had woke up in the house in Gilmore where he lived. He'd gotten ready and gone to his literature lecture. Then he had gone to work coaching the basketball team.

He then went for lunch with Haley and Jamie. Nathan was busy with basketball practice.

During lunch Lindsay had called him asking him to go to New York at the weekend to do some work on his book 'An Unkindness of Ravens.'

He said that of course he would. He went back to work in his office in the gym in Gilmore and worked on some plays for an upcoming game his team had.

At five he headed home and left the house to go for a short run. He followed his usual route, looking down at the ground as he ran.

When he looked up he noticed he wasn't in Gilmore anymore. He looked around.

"Huh," he said in confusion.

	"OK I'll give it a try," he said. He closed his eyes and thought of the drink he'd like. He opened them and sure enough there was a beer in front of him. "OK, that is weird and oddly pretty cool at the same time," he said looking at her what a smile. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Her time alone, without those she knew from New York, really had changed her. She was far more calm these days, less of the bitch that she was. Though that was still in her, she rarely had the reason to bring it out. "It is," she said with a laugh. "And yes, beer isn't exactly what I tend to go for." (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Blair nodded, taking a sip from her drink before putting it back on the table.

"It's a nice place to live. I like how crowded it can get. And of course, the places to go. I usually have a busy week, a busy life really. It's nice to be here in a way, to get away from the crowd and just...relax."

She did miss New York though, but she was starting to get use to the idea of being here.

"What about you? Enjoy California?"

	"I've never spent much time in California. Though drama seems to follow everywhere you go." Blair was of course use to drama in her life, it was part of her world.
