Luke was walking home from school when it happened. It'd been about a week since the incident with Martin Trueman. Two days after, Sarah Jane, Rani, Clyde, and Carla had surprised Luke with a quickly put together birthday party. Luke had been ecstatic. It was his first birthday he'd ever celebrated. Now he could tell people he was 15, even when he was really only 1 year old.

He'd made plans to hang out with Clyde later that day but he knew Sarah Jane wouldn't let him unless he got his homework done first. He'd already finished most of it in school. It wouldn't take him long. The problem was waiting until Clyde got done with his. Luke grinned, thinking about his best friend.

He was nearing home on Bannerman Road and had just turned the corner when all of a sudden the scenery abruptly changed. One moment he was standing in the street. The next he was standing in front of a door in the middle of what seemed to be a blizzard. Luke had never been in a blizzard before but he knew that whatever it was, it was really cold outside. He quickly grasped the door handle and ducked in side, turning to look back at the door in surprise. Luke could swear that he'd just been in a spatial temporal shift caused by extra quantum forces, not unlike what had happened when he'd been removed from existence when the Trickster had appeared.

Luke slowly turned around, taking in his surroundings. He seemed to be in some sort of hotel. What was going on? Where was he? Sarah Jane would be expecting him home any moment now.

"Yes and I have been thinking the same thing" as Violet accepted her notebook. "For some reason the planet seems to know things from how people take their tea to what our rooms look like in our actual times" as she flipped to the sketch of her room before the Count Olaf caused fire. "I would love the help, people into science are few and far between it seems and I'm nursing some hunches of my own about the planet" she could smile now.

"One curious thing: I found an actual junkyard on the planet and I think it somehow knows how I hunt through junkyards and dumpsters for parts" she confessed.

	"Really?" Luke repeated again. "If the planet gives you anything you want, why not just ask for what you need instead of looking through a junkyard? Do you make the plans first or gather parts and then make something out of them?" Luke looked down at the picture she showed him. "Is that what your room looks like?" "Really but I also like the thrill of the hunt so its like the planet knew that somehow" Violet explained. "Yes, that was my room before the fire that killed my parents was started. The planet made my room an exact recreation from the window to my bookshelves and parts boxes" she added. "But the planet gives what we need, everything from coats to the parts for my projects" adding this to her ongoing puzzle.

"I see. I'm sorry about your parents." Luke made a note never to joke about fire around Violet if he ever ran into her again. He'd once made the mistake of trying to be funny and only ended up hurting someone's feelings. He was careful about what he joked about now... not that he much good at it, according to Clyde. For a moment, Luke thought about Clyde, Rani, and Maria, wondering what they would think when they found Sarah Jane and him gone.

When Violet mentioned the planet giving them things, Luke wondered how far it worked, if the planet only gave them things they actually needed or things they would like to have. "How does it do it? Give you what you need, I mean."

	"Thanks" as Violet pushed back the memories of the fire that started her journey. "As for your question its hard to explain but watch" as Violet thought aloud. 	"I have no idea either!" Violet was grinning, he was more like her than first figured. "But since I love a good puzzle that is just one question among many, I've heard of people finding everything from coffee to pens so I may post this as a question to see what others are finding". 	"Seems to be that way" Violet nodded. She scribbled her room number on some scrap paper for Luke,"I'm thinking about seeing if there is anyone like us around, people that are just as curious as we are about this place". 	"Thanks," Luke said as he took the piece of paper she handed to him. "May I have my room key too please?" he asked politely, because she still had it in her hand. His eyes widened slightly when she mentioned a snowball cannon. A cannon that shot out snowballs? "Maybe you can show me how it works sometime!" he suggested, wanting to know how that worked. "Sorry and here you go" Violet handed over the keys to Luke. "Of course!" Violet was grinning as she explained how she got the idea as they walked. "With all this snow there has to be a snowball fight at some point and I got to thinking about firepower. A cannon would easily shoot off who knows how many snowballs at once and well it would keep people guessing and ducking". She was beaming at this point, the cannon being a small pet project at the moment.

"Thank you," Luke said as he took the key from her. He returned her grin as she talked about her snowball machine. "It sounds like something you're very interested in," he noted. "I don't mean to bother you anymore than I have to. Let's talk later! I'm going to go find Sarah Jane now. It was really nice meeting you though, Violet." He really wanted to find his mum and find out what was going on.

	"Untill next time!" Violet called with a smile as Luke left. She meanwhile slipped back into the cafe to fine tune her sketch and add Luke's hunches to her growing section on the planet. (Reply to this) (Parent)
