Gwen decided it was her turn to bring the tea and coffee in order to keep a tiny piece of her Cardiff life together in spite of being stuck on the planet. So after she dressed in jeans and a sweater (plus her wedding ring on its chain) she made 3 steaming cups and left to visit Jack and Ianto. But she was also hiding the fact the stress of recent events was finally starting to take a toll on her, mind and body. The slight sneezes could be passed off as leftovers from her landing in a sewer puddle then the larger body of water on the planet but her friends would see the truth. So she knocked on the door with tray in tow and made a weak try at a joke,"Coffee lady bearing coffee!" but she let out another sneeze. Her hands shook somewhat as she held onto the tray, a sign whoever answered her knock would quickly spot.

But she felt as miserable as she looked, the beginnings of a stress induced cold on the horizon. Her eyes were bloodshot from having cried herself to sleep the prior night (due to nightmares) and well the water landing did not exactly help matters either. But the cold would be a short lived one, only a couple of days at worst. But this would also serve as a reminder, she could trust at least 2 people with the darkness racing around her soul. Everything over the last 3 or so weeks had led up to this: from losing Tosh and Owen to the Daleks, being pulled to the planet and being apart from her husband.

All Gwen needed at the moment was to just be undersood, nightmares and all.
