Life on Mirage wasn't really all that different to life in Bristol. Cassie was starting to make a few friends, she had drugs provided free of charge and she didn't even have to attend college any longer. Still, it was a lot quieter than Bristol. Although the Weasley twins had the joking, youthful side that reminded her of her friends back home, she had yet to find anyone that was the perfect fit for her. And she missed Sid - at least if she had gone to Elgin she could have called him, emailed him, anything. Here... well, he probably thought she'd abandoned him.

So, Cassie did what she always did when she felt low; popped a pill and headed down to the club. It was pretty deserted, but Cassie slid up to the bar and got herself a drink before deciding to amuse herself by spinning on the bar stool. She giggled madly, gripping the bar as she finally managed to stop herself again. She reached for her drink, but found that she was too dizzy and simply grabbed at thin air for a moment. "Oh wow, wow!" she laughed, eventually managing to get the glass into her hand, holding it tightly against the bar as if she was afraid it would slip away from her again.

Jackson had spent of the morning studying the map Dahak had seen fit to give him.It hadnt helped any that he barley knew any of the grounds,having spent most of the last few days in his room,but he memorized it non-the-less.

A quick glance at the clock had finally managed to spurn him out of his room and outside for a quick lunch,and of course a self guided tour of the grounds which jackson had been shocked to find it had been changed into a vinyard overnight.

He,however,knew better then to lollygag around forever,he had a job to do after all and if dahak was anything like his bosses,well he wouldnt exactly want to piss him off now would he?So it was that very night that jackson found himself strolling into the club like bar,thankfully his 'target'hadnt been hard to find after all.

He grinned,watching her warily as he slid onto the seat beside her "at least someones having fun"he mused,chuckling.

Once the dizziness had just about past, Cassie lifted the glass to her lips and took a long drink of the alcohol, pulling a face as the sharpness of it stung the back of her throat. After placing the glass back down, she casually turned to the man who had appeared next to her and gave him a smile. He was cute, a little older than her but that was never something that had bothered her.

"Wow, hi, where'd you come from?" she asked with a giggle; everything seemed so surreal, but then she was high and in a bar on a different planet, so that wasn't exactly surprising. "Oh, well, I suppose you've got to make the most of it. Free drinks, go on, treat yourself!" she grinned.

"I came from outside,where did you come from?"he repsonded lightly, not quite sure if she meant in general or not.

Nodding to her statment he signaled the stone thing that was playing bartender and ordered his drink,nothing to fancy of course,he wasnt about to get drunk and screw up his mission.

"Right you are"He stated,holding up his drink "a toast then?to free drinks"

	Cassie laughed a little too much at his comment, easily amused for the time being. "Yeah, yeah," was about all she managed to respond with. "Uh, I don't know. Outside too, I suppose!" she said, still giggling uncontrollably. "Wow, yeah. To free drinks!" she grinned, clinking her glass against his and taking a drink. "I'm Cassie, by the way." 	Jackson smiled warmly, amused at her actions,as their glasses clinked together.He quickly downed the alcohol setting the glass on the counter,barley notcing as it was refilled automaticly "Right,where have My manners gone?"He asked playfully,sticking his hand out to shake hers "Im jackson" (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	She raised an eyebrow as he downed the drink without even pulling a disgusted shot-face. "Nice to meet you, Jackson," she said, trying to sound serious and grown up, but unable to keep the ridiculous smile off her face.
