It was late now. The sun had gone down hours ago. He'd met with the girl Toph, and she had all too easy to read. For some reason, almost getting killed tends to make vampires stronger. It had been the same with him. All his gifts were there, and stronger than ever. He could hear the constant drone in the back of his head that were the thoughts of mortals. Of course, he didn't focus on it. It would drive him quite insane to do that. He just let it be, and as always, scanned only for those who might mean him harm.

Over the course of the night, he'd gotten his key, and directions to his room. His room. How arrogant was this Planet that it would think to kidnap him, to take him away from his very death, and place him in a room. Like he was a child again for real, instead of just in appearance, and the Planet was a firm parent who was telling him what was best to him. If he thought about it much more, he might slam the walls with his fists. This might make him feel better, but really, what would it accomplish?

He wandered through the halls, searching for this room. He had no idea what to expect. How humiliating to be assigned to a room like this. But he didn't have a whole let else to do, and finding this room before sunrise was better than trying to dig into the dirt to escape the sun. He'd had enough of being burned. His body was still recovering from the last time he'd done it. The blackness was mostly gone, but he was dark still. Like he was a mortal with a dark suntan.

Instinctively, he shielded his thoughts. It wasn't something he thought about anymore. Even one of the Ancient Ones would have a hard time reading his thoughts when he didn't want them to. Only when he was surprised, or if someone was very strong, could he be read without his permission. So, silently, he walked down the hallway. The first indication that he was there, the first small sounds he made, were when he inserted the key into the lock and started to turn it. He wondered what his room, the room he'd been sent to, like a child, would look like.

This was an odd mixture, really, of comfort and excitement. One could never be too certain around any vampire, but most especially Lestat. Unpredictable was putting it mildly. And yet, it really was sort of relaxing, to be drinking blood out of these odd little packets and resting back against his friend, or whatever he was. He'd never been quite sure on that point.

When Lestat spoke, Armand rolled his eyes and looked up at the blond vampire with an expression of mock-horror on his face. "Again, I hardly think you're the one I should take as a role model for being good. As for discipline..." He grinned up at the other vampire, showing his fangs. "You can always try." There was a definate emphasis on the last word. Dangerous, these games he was playing, but thrilling too. Who wanted to live life in a safe, boring way anyway? Maybe he had once, but no longer.

He watched as Lestat made his way around back to the chaise, Armand didn't waste any time and all resting his head in the other vampire's lap comfortably. The words whispered in his ear had made him shiver, and he wasn't sure he'd hid it all that well. There was always the chance Lestat hadn't noticed, of course. Not a large chance, probably, but a chance.

"Yes, many hunts." He practically purred as he pressed his cheek against the other vampire's chilly fingers. "A god? Truly? Well, I won't worship this god. I'm done with that foolishness. And you don't have to worry, my dear Lestat, I won't be in a big hurry to try that again. You see, I... I wasn't going to die. I knew it, even before this Planet took me. I'm too old, and Marius' blood is too strong in my veins."

He listened with a slight sneer on his face as Lestat listed off the people he'd met. Some of them seemed interesting, some less so, but it was the last one named that really made him scornful. Lestat and his mortals, he would never understand it.

"You don't need to worry on that account, Lestat, I have no interest in your mortal toy." He smirked a little before continuing on. "A witch? They exist on this world, too? I remember talking once to David, right after he was turned into a vampire, about some of the witch families the Talamasca was studying. Are there other witches around? Why does she have purple hair? What a strange name...." He shrugged. "A mortal who slays Vampires? That amuses me greatly. What sort of pathetic vampire could be slain by a mere human? And why would you bed such a creature? An Amazon... a witch, a Slayer, an alien, a captain... you have had some odd experiences."

The mention of Riddick, and the implied cruelty that had been done to him, made his eyes shine. He sat up slightly, wrapping his arms around the other vampire's neck. "I think I will seek out this... Riddick. If you had so much fun with him, why shouldn't I? At least I could feed from him, I've never drank from an alien before."
