Xena had spent the last several days with Gabrielle. And they had been good. Very revealing. But, they hadn't done anything very strenuous, and she needed to work out again. It was late morning, and later than she would normally seek out some physical activity, but it was never too late in her opinion.

She locked the door and decided to go back to the training room she'd found before with all the weapons and dummies and cushioned floor mats. But then she remembered that she was supposed to be training Katara in the use of a bow staff. So, she looked up the girl's room number in the lobby and headed that way, backtracking a little but it didn't matter.

She was dressed in her usual leather armor and copper plating. Her sword was sheathed on her back and her chakram and whip were at her hips. She knocked on the door marked E104 and stood back to wait for her to answer. She didn't even know if she was in her room, but if she wanted to make sure the girl got some training in, this was the first place to look.

"Katara, it's Xena. Do you want to work with the staff some more today?" She called out against the door after she'd knocked.

Xena stepped back when the door opened and a clearly disheveled Katara stood in the doorway. Xena couldn't help but smirk, wondering how she'd managed to sleep this late. But, she knew everyone had different sleeping patterns. Not everyone rose as early as she did.

"Alright." She stepped into the room and looked around. It was vastly different than her room, but it reminded her vaguely of an Amazon hut. She crossed her arms and waited for the girl to dress and ready herself for the training session ahead. She returned a small smile and a nod when the girl emerged from the washroom and headed for the door, obviously ready to go.

Xena stepped out of the room and into the hall, waiting for Katara to close the door and follow. She looked over her shoulder as she walked ahead. "Late night?" She asked casually. She'd looked like she needed more sleep when she first came to the door, but she looked relatively bright eyed now.

"Sorry it has taken so long to get back to training. I have been a little busy the last few days and haven't even been able to train myself." She smiled apologetically as they continued down the hall to the main building and then into the training room. She opened the door for Katara and turned the light on, walking in after her.
