Day 8 // Enter Rogue
Who: Rogue and Bobby Drake
When: Day 8, early afternoon
Where: The beach
Why: Rogue's arrival
Rating: G
Status: Complete
It was an odd feeling to be drained of life force. Rogue had done it to so many others yet had never experienced the sensation herself. As Apocalypse sucked the energy and absorbed powers out of the young mutant she learned out painful it could be. Tiring too. Once the ancient mutant had his fill and let go of the young woman, she sank to the cold ground and passed out. It seemed like she was out for a few minutes when Rogue's green eyes snapped open. Why is it so hot? The teenager had been in cold Himalayas' in Tibet so she shouldn't have felt like she was roasting. Wasn't I in a cave? Where is this sand coming from? That was when Rogue realized something was horribly wrong.
Sitting up quickly, Rogue glanced around to see that she was no longer in Apocalypse's lair but on a tropical beach! "Okay...what's going on here?" Rogue murmured, confusion crossing her pale features. She slowly stood up and brushed the sand off her black jeans before shedding the heavy winter jacket to reveal a black tank top. Typically Rogue tried to keep herself covered up as much as she could but it was simply too hot. Besides, she was pretty good at avoiding skin to skin contact as long as she kept her gloves on. The teenager slung the jacket over her shoulder and looked around the beach once more. Off in the distance was a large white stucco building. Maybe it Rogue was lucky she'd find people inside.
Maybe I don't even have to go inside, the teenager thought when her eyes caught some movement further down the beach. It was person but aside from that Rogue couldn't really make out their features in the bright sunlight. "Hey!" she called, waving her free arm. God I hope they know where the other x-men are to, Rogue silently prayed as she jogged toward the other person.
