Premonition
Who: River, Laura, and Andy
What: Premonition and probably some fighting somwhere in there...
When: Day 34
Rating: TBD
Status: Active

River was walking barefoot along the shoreline in the early afternoon. It was her third day at Mirage and she was starting to adjust a bit to her surroundings. She had been fortunete enough to find people in this place that were similar to her; people who understood her. She was starting to consider that the planet was trying to bring people from other worlds together. Although she did not want to go as far as considering it was anything good.

Halfway along, River was able to spot Laura. She awkwardly waved at the woman. She was surprised to find her out in during the day. Then again, Laura did say she only prefered the night. River smiled a little and started to go in the woman's direction when she noticed another figure nearby.

When River was attempting to identify who the man was when something hit her and she fell back onto the sand, the wind knocked out of her. She started to shiver and shake. River knew what it was but she tried to fight it. She wished she didn't have to go through it every time her brain wanted to show her something. Flashes of large green figures flew across her eyes. River shook her head from side to side a bit. She tried to shake it away. But the figures persisted. River screamed out in pain as the one of the green figures ran after her. It scratched at her and everything went black for a moment. River was able to pull herself out and stared straight into the sky. she screamed again and focused on Laura and...Andy's faces. "They're coming!" She forced out. She heard some questions being thrown at her and was able to respond "Lizards!"

Andy had mentioned to George a few days ago...a couple, maybe - he wasn't really sure; it was hard to keep track of time in this place - that he'd wanted to skip rocks. It was probably lame and definitely childish, but he couldn't help himself. Like the snow fort and the tree house, it was just another thing that Andy hadn't really ever gotten to do when he'd been young enough to do so without people thinking he was immature. After what he'd been through in the past year and learning what he'd have gone through in the hour or two following his having been sucked up by this place, Andy stopped caring what people thought.

So, he'd gone down to the lakeside and gathered as big a pile of flat-shaped rocks as he could find. He was a little rusty, but if he kept at it, he'd probably be able to beat his old childhood record of ten skips before a sink.

When he ran out of rocks, though, he had turned to gather more and had noticed Laura and also another woman with whom he wasn't familiar. Laura was out in the day light? He could've sworn he remembered her saying she preferred night time. Then again, he'd been pretty wasted and he'd been having to store more and more information about more and more people here, lately, so he was sometimes finding it hard to keep everything and everybody straight. Maybe he was mistaken.

He'd opened his mouth to call out a greeting to the women when the one who wasn't Laura dropped to the ground. His eyes went wide, because she hadn't looked as though she'd tripped, and he rushed over to her, squatting down beside her. "Hey...hey are you okay?" he asked, although from the looks of her, she couldn't hear him. When she screamed, he jumped, startled, and landed on his rear with a thud.

"Lizards?" Andy asked. Oh man, not again... People had been talking about the lizards all morning and whatever that crazy shit was, Andy had no idea. "What are you talking about?" he asked and looked up at Laura with what he liked to call his what the fuck?! expression. Was he missing something?
