Who: Lucas Scott and Layla Williams.
What: Lucas visits Layla after finishing playing basketball and leaves Layla a note.

Lucas had played some basketball on the court. Then he went back to his room and took a quick shower. He walked to Layla's room and knocked. He got no answer so he walked back to his room and wrote her a note. He walked back to her room and slid it under her door.

Dear Layla,

I called to your room and you weren't there so I decided to leave you a note. I miss you and would love to meet up with you. So when you get this note, I hope you'll call into my room and maybe we could do take a walk and get some coffee or something.

I hope that you come and I'll be waiting for you,
Your Lucas.

He walked back to his room and turned on the TV as he waited for her, hoping she'd show up.

"Well that would be my mom and my Uncle Keith. Mom is one of the strongest people that I know. She's amazing and we're really close. She put her life on hold a lot for me. She could have listened to Dan and not had me, but she didn't. She chose to have me because she said she wanted me to be part of her life. Keith isn't my actual father but growing up he was the closest thing to a father I have. My mom said when I was born that the nurses handed me to Keith. She said she'd known him her whole life and that was the only time she'd seen him cry. He was the one I could always turn to when I needed to. He didn't have to be a part of mine or mom's life. But he chose to be. And he loved my mom. He was like a mentor and a father and if I turn out to be half the man he was, I'll count myself very lucky."
