Looks like someone remembered my birthday. Do I dare accept gifts from strange deities?

Oh, I feel like I'm missing so much school. :| I can't even e-mail my professors or anything. Blah. I hope I can get around to making it all up.

And, and it's almost Halloween. :x My sweet tooth has been really bad lately. I mean, if it's sweet, it's in my mouth, no joke. Lately I've been making myself hot apple cider, and it's actually really, really good. If anyone wants to try some, I'd be happy to share!

You know, I think my favorite thing about being here so far is the bed in my room. :D It's so warm. And soft.

It's kind of like what I sleep in at home, only...kind of bigger than I'm used to. :x I do sort of miss being home, though. I hope someone's feeding my bunny.

[Ganymede had woken up feeling surprisingly comforted by something very soft, very warm, and very fluffy. The floor was cold when his feet had finally touched it, but he eventually adjusted himself to the temperature. It was unusual, but he was okay, and Lethe was okay, curling around his bare ankles and twitching her tail as he ventured out of the room, to try to figure out exactly where he was. Dressed in a slightly oversized t-shirt, and boxer shorts that barely hit him mid-thigh, he carried his kitten with him out into the hallway, and peeked around for anyone else.]

Hallo? [He sounds a little lost.]

...Ganymede, dear? You haven't been in contact with Eros, have you? I can't seem to reach him. It's like he's disappeared off the face of the earth, and I've got a terrible feeling about it...

So! I had a bit of a run-in on the subway today. I think I might stop taking it altogether. Work's not that far away. I may call off for a day or so.

Um. But, I got grabbed. And not like...on accident, or because somebody stumbled or anything like that. It was a grab and a pull. I didn't know what he was doing until he started dragging me backwards. If it wasn't for a few other guys on that particular train, I might have ended up in pretty bad shape. :|

But like, the weird thing was the argument that took place afterwards. I mean, the guy that grabbed me started trying to get in my face about homosexuality and trying to tell me I was a horrible person for a number of related reasons. I don't know. But it was scary. x| I tried to stay out of the way. It's not like I did anything to him. I didn't even realize he existed until he touched me. Then he called me a rent boy.

Anyways, I'm just going to sit at home for a little while with some tea and...I don't know. Lock the doors or something. What is with people?

Hello, my lovelies.

So, one week ago, I came in here as Nate. I've gathered some knowledge since then, so now I'm supposedly Eros, god of erotic love and la-dee-da. Sad to say, I don't remember much--well, anything. I figured I best get up to speed on the people I used to know, I guess. So, uhmm, I'm just in NY, if anyone wants to play a round of "guess that god" with me. There'll be drinks, of course--mostly, for my sake.

[The first thing visible is Tanner's smile, as he's a little too close to the camera, still trying to adjust it as it blinks on. He bites his lip for a moment, looking for the little light indicating that it is indeed on, and once he finds it, he gently settles himself back into his computer chair.]

Hi. [He smiles, shyly. His face overtaken with a hint of pink.] I'm Tanner. You might know me as...[He stops, and worries his lip between his teeth a little, looking decently self conscious by now.] Ganymede.

I've looked through the other posts here and some of them are really-[He stops again, and just shakes his head.] Um. But...I think I kind of get the gist of this place? I'm not sure. [He shrugs.] But I figured I'd make a video post, because I...don't think I'd know how to introduce myself just typing. [There's a bit of a giggle.] It doesn't...carry tone well, you know? And I wanted to be friendly.
