Happy Anniversary!
Well, Metem, congratulations! It's been three years today since we launched! And oh how far we've come since.

So, the good news. Despite the progressively worsening symptoms, the godlings will not die. Well. Most of them won't. Any dropped characters will be dead of their illnesses.

As for everyone else, when the sun rises on the Solstice (June 21), they will again be immortal for the day. Full powers and everything. And, when the sun rises the next day and they go back to being human, they'll have a permanent power boost.

What that boost entails is up to you. You can add an additional aspect to their powers (e.g. Triton will now be able to shift at will between his land and sea forms), or you can expand/heighten their current abilities.

But, I do ask that you let me know what the new powers are by the 21st! Either post them here, or else drop me a line some other way.

Bres: Can now control his transformations between Fomori and Tuatha at will.

Frigg: Can now actively divine answers to questions at will, but there are still chances at wrong or only possible answers.

Goliath: Can now grow to his full size and strength for limited periods. Physical strain shorten this period.

Hades: Now has the power to summon and command spirits at will.

Heph: Gains superhuman strength in his upper body alone.

Seth: Can now drain the moisture of an area to create adry, desert-like environment.

Tezcatlipoca: Can now induce feelings of discord in mortal beings at will. The effort is greater if directed at a godling.

Tyr: His bodily functions all move from peak-human to superhuman.

	Percival's sword-fighting skills increase to peak-human. His SCA opponents won't know what hit them. Oberon can now summon storms at will, rather than just when he's angry. The downside is his iron aversion increases to nearly a full-blown allergy level. (Reply to this)

	In addition to inducing grapevines to grow at will, Dionysus can now also induce many other kinds of plants to grow as well, up to the size of a sapling. In addition, he can also grow them in places where plants wouldn't usually grow (for example, through the walls of buildings). (Reply to this)

Aphrodite has increased magnetism. When she turns on the charm, she is virtually irresistible to those who have a preference for women.

Apollo now glows 24/7, but also can take any shape he likes whenever he wishes.

Ariadne can now solve virtually any problem presented to her within 48 hours or fewer.

Asclepius can officially heal everything. Including death.

Bastet gains a Fertility aspect! Women who spend time around Bastet have an easier time conceiving, and pregnant women near her have smoother gestations and deliveries. The effect is cumulative.

Erato has a considerably farther-reaching effect for her ability to create harmony and charm the sight. She also has a deeper bond with Apollo and her sisters.

Esther gains additional persuasion. It is virtually impossible for any mortal to disagree with her.

Kali can now completely destroy anything with a touch. This does require a conscious, deliberate effort to work.

Ogma has doubled his strength. He is also a human Babelfish: He can become fluent in any language in a matter of hours.

Puck has full shifting abilities for his human form. He can look like anyone at any time, as well as his alternate stallion form.

Quetzalcoatl gains skill mastery! The items he makes/arts he performs are of superhuman beauty, he picks up new skills at a much quicker pace and those who learn from him pick up the lessons much more quickly.

Sif has increased abilities of abundance. The food she makes is more filling; if she goes looking for food, she finds larger quantities; and her own fertility is markedly increased.

Triton now has the ability to switch at will between his land and sea forms.

Sigyn will be able to benefit a larger mass of people... from twenty to fifty.

Baldr (because he's a pain in my behind sometimes) will find that he's starting to become less vulnerable to items created in the modern era--not everything, mind (a bullet would still likely put him down if it hits the right spot), but enough that it becomes more difficult (not impossible) for mortals to take him out.
