I loved this! I really like the backstory and how Draco has carved a life for himself. I love how Lucius was still checking on him even though he didn't know it. I swooned over the H/D interaction and fell in love with their first time. Just great!

This was so wonderful. Just the right amount of humorous angst. I never imagined Draco ending up in this type of situation. I loved it.

what a compelling scenario. i don't think i've seen draco working a muggle fair before. i was quite surprised by the revelations at the end--that marguerite was in touch with lucius. what i was really hoping to find out more about was this past friendship between harry and draco, though. so draco spent some time with harry at grimmauld place while the death eater trials were going on? i hope harry can keep his promise, and the romantic in me wishes that harry and draco can move towards somethig more stable than hurried encounters in draco's tent.

Is it wrong of me to love your Luna? I almost enjoyed her more than the Harry/Draco. Almost. Lovely in-character Draco voice!

This was great. I found them very IC...not too much emotion or pretty talk just business and UST and sex...very nice. Luna was wonderful too.

This story is brilliant. It beautifully fulfills romantic comedy conventions, is funny and heart-breaking by turns, and sexy as all hell. I was reading with a smile on my face for practically the whole thing.

I loved -- adored, shower praise upon -- your Draco. He's bitter like dark chocolate but he hasn't lost his spark or his wit. I found myself feeling protective of him, of his dignity and well-being, your writing was so persuasive in putting me on his side. His interactions with Harry simultaneously sparked humiliation and attraction; for such a light-hearted story, I felt pretty emotionally invested. He's an intriguing mixture of strength and self-pity, wit and -- well, self pity: I wanted to reach into the story, pull him into safety and make him all better. There's just something about the way he curls in on himself, self-protectively, with Harry and Marguerite, that got to me. He may be down and out, but he's not without his defenses. His integrity.

I also want to say: very very good UST. I could have red about Harry and Draco sniping and flirting back and forth forever, seriously, forever.

This was absolutely wonderful! You've managed to squeeze some amazingly hot sex into an even more amazing plot - or was it the other way around? Very creative backstory... I can't tell you how much I want just a fic on Draco's time at Grimmauld with Harry.

Man, I feel like the only coherent thing I can manage is, "I effing LOVE Smutmas." :D

So wonderful--from the plot twists (I didn't guess! Hobbes was too much of an obvious bastard in his scene to evoke further suspicions from me, cool!) to Draco's prickliness and dotty Luna to the loveliness of the sex and the wonderful wry humor (even better than the sex, and that's saying something). What a keeper of a story!

Fantastic! Draco's voice really was excellent, and I must join in the Luna-love. I adored Harry lying on Draco's bed laughing uncontrollably over the exploding potion warning :).

What an interesting premise. I really liked this fic although I wasn't sure I would. But it was really very well done and quite funny as well. The name Hobbs reminds me of Queers as Folk. That Hobbs was a bastard too, just sayin. Great story :)

Eeee that was SO Harry, Draco! I love all the banter and chemistry you establish between them. I love the charm and easy-going pace of the story that made it such a pleasure to read. I love the plot of Draco working at a fair (and me with images of a British version of Carnivale hehehe!). And I LOVED LUNA. I'm hoping I'm not just being a ranty fangirl who enjoys some part of the fic that was merely incidental to you, but. OMG LUNA. Experimenting spells on her cats and Draco pretending he didn't her her and AHAHAH. FANTASTIC.

Even more than the hot hot smutty lovely sexy bits, this story has so much! It's fantastic!
