Oh, this is fabulous. To start with, it's so completely imagined, with the dragon reserve, and Harry visiting, in part, to have sex with Charlie. Who, by the way, you've invented a great personality for. I knew guys like this, long ago -- hedonistic, responsible, unpossessive. I love how you've made him a natural teacher for Harry. And then there's the hurt/comfort angle -- and you made the need for dragon egg so believable -- and you kept Snape so nicely in character during the sex -- the desperate little martinet! Even the threesome comes up naturally. Really, Charlie is the jewel in the crown of this piece, and I'm Snape's Girl to the max, but you've made him such an interesting character. Oh, and the sex? She is hot. Great job.

Thanks for your detailed comments! I'm glad you enjoyed the story. I spent a lot of time shifting all the plot pieces around to make it hang together, and finally realized that hurt/comfort wasn't just another one of her listed kinks that I could add, but the one that could make everything else make sense. :-)
