As a long-time reader of this particular Secret Santa, I could spot their signature all over this fic. And as always, amazingly done. It's been getting so hard to find really good torture fic post-DH, so this is quite a treat.

I would happily agree.

What makes it even more compelling is that the author has left the reader with so much to consider and contemplate after the story is done. Because the story ISN'T done, really. Not only am I extremely curious about Ron/Narcissa, I have to wonder what's going to happen when Harry tries to go back to his normal life with Ginny. Because you just know that girl is a dom trying to break free, and that relationship can get all kinds of twisted as Harry tries to recover. Not to mention future chance meetings with the Malfoys. *shivers* The resulting scenarios are endless and all of them delicious.

It's always deeply satisfying reading a fanfic that gets Harry's emotional make-up dead perfect. Excellent job.

Thanks so, so much for the lovely feedback! The comment about it not being the end made me especially happy - I saw it pretty straightforwardly leading up to the 'look' Harry and Draco share in the DH Epilogue (as in, Draco needing that much time to heal, and Harry forcing himself to forget to have 'normality' through sheer pig-headedness).

And whee, so glad that Harry was convincing!

Now I *have* to ask whether you thought it was me, or who you were suspecting? Just because I'm a curious cat ;).

It was a toss up between you and amaneunsis, although I was leaning towards her when I made the post. I find it hilarious that she posted directly after me, thus clearing up the dilemma. The two of you write Lucius in such a loving way, so layered and complex. For quite a while I was in the grip of H/L shipper fever (it has passed, but I still retain a fondness for the way he tortures Harry so sweetly), so I've read pretty much all of yours and amanuensis' fics (and let us not forget annephoenix). Lucius' voice must be a pleasure to write.

I can't be arsed with Harry/Draco anymore as a couple, but yeah, I could see that glance having some meaning as per your story.
