HOW IT WORKS:
❧ Post a blank comment with your character's name, canon, and any preferences.

CUDDLE SCENARIOS:
① Sweet dreams
It's been a long day and all you want to do is sleep or just rest your eyes for a bit. Hopefully whoever is close by doesn't mind if you use them as a blanket.

② Stormy weather
The heavy rain, thunder and lightning won't be letting up anytime soon. Luckily, it's the perfect weather to stay indoors and snuggle up close and keep warm.

③ Lazy dancer
It's the end of a party, or maybe it's only the two of you, but the tempo is slow and the lights are low. Let your dance partner take the weight and just sway.

④ Surprise attack
Time to invade someone's personal space. Are they working too much and need a distraction? Maybe you just wanted to brighten their day. Either way, they won't see it coming.

⑤ Movie night
It can be on the sofa or in a darkened theater, but you've got your popcorn and someone to settle against during your favorite movie.

⑥ I love you, man
It's totally platonic, really. You're just very good friends, no matter what people like to think. But you just love your friend so much you want to hug them, whether they like it or not.

⑦ Jeepers creepers
Welp. You were just frightened. Was it a spider in the washroom, a ghost in the attic, a bad dream? Either way, you're looking for someone to cling to right now, and who better than that person right there?

⑧ Hurt and comfort
Whether you're sick in bed, just been dumped or suffered a traumatic event, you need someone to wrap their arms around you and make everything go away.

⑨ Sunday morning
Maybe you just had a wild night. Maybe there’s just not enough space at your place and you need to share your bed. Or maybe you just got really tired and someone else happened to be there. Doesn't matter because now the person with you looks way more comfortable than any blanket or pillow. Drape to your heart’s content.

⑩ Moment after
You just had incredible, vigorous sex (playing out is totally optional) and if you weren't a cuddler before, you are now. You're probably too exhausted to do anything else anyway. Just enjoy the moment.

Or four, or five. Get a group and cuddle away.

"I don't know who to believe anymore. Everyone before wasn't an issue, but now everyone could be a killer. I can't sleep, I don't feel like eating, my days and nights run together and I'm lost, you know? Lost. All I've got is you and you're the reason I'm here in the first place." He's not referring to his loss of powers, he's referring to who Charles is to the world. Without Charles there'd be no Wesley. Without mutants there'd be no war, nothing to tear them apart.

He snorts a little bit, "No one would kill you Wesley." They couldn't possibly be that stupid, Charles would ruin them, for years and years. Being able to settle so comfortably in someone's mind and put them through torture without even touching them. That and if he even so much felt the intent to do so it would be enough to set Charles into a fit of rage. For all he hurt Wesley, it was his job, and no one else's-- not to mention he liked having him alive.

"What do you expect me to do? go back to how it was?"

He shifts, pushing some of the cover away so he can throw a leg over Charles. His arms around his neck tighten. He knows logically he should believe him, but his mind is more concerned with the storm that's still raging outside.

"It would be nice." Wes was just so tired of feeling lost. Even for a few weeks it seemed to warp his perception, make him feel human again. He was surprised with how much he missed being different.

He grunts at the movement, Wesley's always been so damn fidgety. He nudges him a little, trying to get him to still as he lets out a slow breath. His brother was frustrating with his protests, but Charles permitted them for the time being; curious about where he was headed in his thoughts and the conversation. He tips his head down and to the side, offering a bite to the top of his ear,

"If I put you back how do I know you're not just going to stab me again?"

	The bite gets a shiver and he finds his hair again. Fingers thread through it and give it a tug. "I don't know," it's almost a whine. Wes would try, he would always try, at least that's how he thought. It was a learned reaction, less of Charles' teaching and more of the Fraternity's. Anyone who was a threat to power or who had too much could be a target. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

He huffs at the tug but doesn't move much, just lets his cheek press into Wesley's temple, "You're annoying, you know that?" He pulls back enough so that he could stare at his twin-- actually trying to piece together the subtle expressions he knew so well and yet never quite processed properly. He didn't doubt, in one way or another, he would regret doing this but for the time being he figured it was better the having Wesley in the state he was now. Hands clamping to the side of his face he grips him hard and closes his eyes, breathing out a slow breath and trying to undo the damage he had done.

"You owe me."

Wes could feel the things in his brain falling back into place. It hurt, it always hurt whenever Charles scrambled him, but he knew the instant he had it back...or something that felt like he was himself again. Everything still raced, that was to be expected because of what he'd consumed. "Thank you," he whispered, pulling his brother close again in a tight hug, head nuzzling his neck.

"Owe you what?" he asked against his skin, giving a tiny spot a bite.

	"I haven't decided yet," He muttered as he watched Wesley for a long moment before he would then curl his arms a little tighter around Wesley, giving the closest to a hug he's given for a while.
