oo6 → Rescues Meme

* Post with your character, fandom, and any preferences in the subject line
* Others pick or roll 1-10 for the rescue scenario using a random generator like RNG
* Reply, rinse, lather, repeat.
* Start rescuing people!

1. Accident - There's been a car wreck or a house collapsed. You never saw it coming and now you're needing some help in getting out.
2. Captured - Seems a bad guy is holding you hostage for their own purposes. Hopefully some help comes along soon.
3. Stuck - You really thought you could fit into that small space/area/situation but now you're stuck and can't get out. Perhaps a friend can find a way to unstick you?
4. Reverse - You aren't the one needing rescue, it's your friend. Better save them quick!
5. Timed - There's a countdown somewhere, possibly a bomb or something bad you know is going to happen. Hurry up and get rescued!!
6. Double Rescue - Both of you need rescued. Better work together in case nobody comes along.
7. Weather - It snuck up on you, the bad weather you're caught in. Could be a hurricane, snowstorm, flood, etc. Find high ground and hope to be rescued soon.
8. For Your Own Good - You don't want to be rescued but apparently you need to be. Whether it's something you're not aware of or you're a danger to yourself, your friend is going to do the right thing and get you out of it whether you like it or not.
9. Trap - You thought this was a rescue. Dun dun DUN!!! It's really a TRAP! Possibly instigated by your friend. Who can you trust to get you out??
10. Free Choice. Any of the above scenarios or create your own!

It was a rookie mistake. One that Eison wouldn't have made should he have actually listened to Fischer and Robert. They refused to be a part of it. He was stubborn, and the cry for help sounded sincere. He had En's camera on, and the microphone. En had said that if he was going to do this, then he would at the very least allow him to play guide. It wouldn't leave Eison out to the wolves. Just in case.

He had been cornered. It was luck that he had managed to slip away. He held his bruised side as he walked down a hallway, leaning against a wall. But he would be found again, whoever this was - wanted him (and the others). But he couldn't pin down which of the people they had upset had done this.

Freddie to the rescue!

There were some perks to having a telepath for a sister. Not only did she realise things were amiss before others, she could (with much prompting and great effort) get valuable intel on a variety of situations. It was hard for her, but no more difficult than it was for Freddie to see her so upset over Eison's troubles. Needless to say, once he got an idea of what was going on and where the young man was, Freddie packed up his gear to get the kid back. Of course, he'd lie and say it was all for Alice, but the truth was he liked the guy well enough and didn't want to see any unnecessary harm come to him.

Eison was feeling the walls of the building, breathing hard. He kept trying to find new hallways to slip into. This place was a maze (certainly easier to navigate for a person with sight, he was sure). He was just glad he wasn't bleeding, but he was certainly sore. And he was sure the black eye he was going to return with would end in a lecture from at least one individual. "En," he mumbled. "Hey, I could use someone right about now." His tone was hushed, though he realized there was a chance for anyone to hear.

He didn't know the details of what Eison was trying to do, what the ultimate goal was, nor did he care. For the time being, whatever it was was a bust. Freddie knew that some days the best strategy was to abandon the mission and live to fight another day. He'd certainly learnt that lesson well over the years. Another lesson he'd learnt well as that of infiltrating a secure location and extracting someone from it. For once, Freddie's every day, normal human skill set came in handy.

No doubt Eison could hear the sound of rushed footfalls approaching, lighter than those that might be security and, obviously, only one set. If he could get them out quietly, perfect, but Freddie was armed and more than willing to fight his way out if necessary.

"Ask and you shall receive, kid."

Eison could hear the footsteps hurrying in his direction. He also recognized the sound of those steps compared to the others he knew. It was Freddie - not the most expected man, but at this moment, Eison couldn't have asked for better. When he could hear Freddie, and talk to him without shouting, he said, "Thank you."

He took a few steps, "I'm sorry. We have to run."

	"Apologise later," he snapped, though not in anger. They didn't have much time to get out and, as Eison said, they needed to run. He wasn't exactly certain how best to help, so he simply took the other's arm to guide him. Unless Eison said otherwise, he'd stick with that. "Let's go." (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Eison nodded and used Robbie's arm to reorient himself with the place. He was more than willing to allow Freddie to guide him through the maze of a building. He kept his pace with Freddie's. He would be so grateful to Freddie, afterwards. Eison felt like he definitely owed him. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Freddie took off at a brisk clip, sparring his energy for when it might really be needed. He also wasn't fully aware of Eison's state at the moment, whether he was hurt or tired. It wouldn't do to sprint ten yards, only to have to drag the other man out, quite literally. (Reply to this) (Parent)
