He didn't know the details of what Eison was trying to do, what the ultimate goal was, nor did he care. For the time being, whatever it was was a bust. Freddie knew that some days the best strategy was to abandon the mission and live to fight another day. He'd certainly learnt that lesson well over the years. Another lesson he'd learnt well as that of infiltrating a secure location and extracting someone from it. For once, Freddie's every day, normal human skill set came in handy.
No doubt Eison could hear the sound of rushed footfalls approaching, lighter than those that might be security and, obviously, only one set. If he could get them out quietly, perfect, but Freddie was armed and more than willing to fight his way out if necessary.
