The Morning After Meme

Last night was pretty wild, or maybe it wasn't. You have just woken up, but you are not alone. Perhaps it is a stranger lying next to you, perhaps it's someone you know. It might be your significant other, or a one night stand. The fact remains that you are in bed together, naked (or maybe not) and something happened. Will you try to sneak away before they wake up, try for round two, or something else entirely?

HOW THIS WORKS:

1. Post with your character/prefs
2. Tag around
3. SHENANIGANS!
4. ???
5. Profit

Of course, it was hardly the first time he'd woken up with someone else in his bed. Though he hardly made a habit out of it. It did get a bit, well, boring after a while. That and he had other things to be concered about them who was in his bed and how to get rid of them.

At the moment, however, the stirring from the other person-he knew full well who it was, it would be hard to forget that type of thing after all, woke up him slightly as he shifted. Stretching out with a yawn and amusement in his eyes.

By the time the other shifted, he'd already begun trying to remember exactly where he'd left his pants. While Moriarty was no doubt used to the occasional guest in bed, the whole idea was completely foreign to Sherlock. Not that he was willing to admit that out loud. Right now the priorities were simple, get dressed and get out. Or they would be if he'd bothered to move faster.

Even with his eyes still closed he could feel the other's gaze, annoyed by the rather smug expression he'd be wearing. He steeled himself as best he could, but still felt somewhat clumsy as he sat up a bit. "Do you make a habit of sleeping with your enemies?", he asked the other man as he picked his pants up from off the floor.

Propping his head in his hand, he raised an eyebrow watching the other move about, though he hardly made an effort to find his own clothes, or move from his spot on the bed. It was amusing, just a bit, the fact that he had managed to get the other in his bed so easily. At least, it had seemed easy enough to him.

That, and he knew he'd pegged Sherlock right. The Virgin, as he so called him to those in his employee, and all his clients. The great Sherlock Holmes, how could he not spot such a thing? The others words were rewarded with an amused grin. "Thats such a strong word, Sherlock. Enemies. They'd hardly be my enemies if I did"he teased, as he snorted with laughter.

"Your amusing, Sherlock, you really are, but I think your forgetting basic biology. It does take two people to do that, but then, you were always a bit...slow on the uptake weren't you?"

He took only a few moments to dress, a bit busy trying to decide how to explain away the rather vivid mark the other had left on his neck just above his collar. He wasn't going to ask why. The whole situation was awkward enough for him to really listen to Moriarty's line of reasoning. He hadn't stopped to think about it the night before anyways and it was a bit too late to stop and think of it now.

"What would you consider them then? And that honestly depends on how they viewed the night. A bit odd to boast about something so subjective.", he asked as he buttoned up his shirt, looking back to the other.

"I didn't forget. Just because I choose not to acknowledge it doesn't mean that I didn't participate.", he scoffed softly, a bit too conflicted to really decide whether or not to be annoyed with the other. "Just because you choose to state the obvious doesn't make me ignorant of the facts."

"If they get in my way, they simply become obsticales to destroy."He stated in a bored tone, offering a shrug as he yawned once more, watching the other man with nothing more then mild curiousity. He hadn't been lying, he did find him amusing and more then a tad bit interesting.

"Oh please. You'd know if I was bragging. I'm hardly being obvious" he mocked, finally sitting up and reaching for his own lingering clothes. Sure, if the need called for it he would have done such a thing in the area it counted for, but he hardly ever needed too.

Smirking, he raised an eyebrow at Sherlocks words, before rolling his eyes. "Oh but I think it does, Sherlock. On ocission, any way." he as fully teasing the other now, smirk firmly in place as he studyied the other with a small tilt of his head. He was rather annoying at times, but he liked Sherlock. For the most part, anyway.

"That's rather simplistic. Even for a man like you.", Sherlock sighed flatly, as if he were trying to drown out the other's amusement by his own annoyance and disdain for the situation.

"Then what would you call that comment? What you may see as the truth may not be so for others. You said they wouldn't be your enemies anymore, but as I've said that's subjective to their view. So you may not consider them as such, but they might still see you that way no matter what happened the night before." He's decided to pointedly ignore the fact that the other doesn't seem in a rush to get dressed. It seems fair enough anyways since there are days he's likely to do the same back in his flat.

"Enlighten me then. What occasion would that be?", he sighs, obviously annoyed by the other's scrutiny.

"Sometimes simple is best, don't you agree?"He stated, his tone dropping into the familier bored voice. He hardly wanted to talk about those who didn't enjoy what he did, or those he wanted to destroy. At the moment anyway. Instead he raised an eyebrow at the other. It would be hard to miss the fact that the other considered him an enemey, but Moriarty didn't. A bit annoying at times, yes, and the fact that he seemed to get in his way more then anyone else.

He was relucant to destroy him though, not when he could have so much fun with him. "You'd be suprised Sherlock."He stated finally with a small shrug.

Finished getting dressed, his smirk widened as he casually moved closer. Clever fingers fiddling with the others collar, straighting it really, and carefully tracing the mark he'd left over his soft skin. It had seemed a great idea at the time, a way to have the other remember what had happened. Though he doubted either of them would ever really forget. "Well, it is a bit funny, watching you struggle to figure out my games. And they are games, with you anyway. Though I suppose if I get bored enough, I did promise to burn you."He mused, a look of thoughtfulness crossing his features before his features changed into one of smugness.

"That depends on the situation really." Though he honestly can't think of a situation where he'd take the simple route over anything else. To him simple meant lazy and often uninspired. Sure it often got the job done, but it lacked finesse.

"Would I?", he asked dryly, unable to really see himself surprised about anything. Sure Moriarty had a way of pushing his buttons, but he never really considered himself surprised in those situations.

Ignoring the urge to back away from the other, Sherlock forced himself to stand still while the other's fingers brushed against his skin, the smooth brush of his fingers drawing forth an involuntary shiver. Thankfully he didn't otherwise react other than a heightened pulse. It was hard not to associated his touch now with what happened the night before. A fact that Sherlock cursed rather bitterly. "I suppose we'll have to see how that turns out, won't we?"

"I suppose."He mused, flashing him a look of mock thoughtfullness. Really, he'd found sometimes simple was best. Not for everything though, he did like to do things in style, after all. Anything that got the job done, really.

"Oh we will Sherlock. You can count.on.it."His tone dropped a few octaves, practially whispering as his gaze swung upwards, smirk tugging at his features as dark eyes bore into the others. He'd noticed the shiver, and the increased pace. It was hard not to, really. Considering that had what he'd been aiming for in the first place. Eyes growing wide, almost as if he was going for the innocent spheal, he slid his fingers higher up Sherlocks neck. Tracing his fingers over the skin with expert slowness, determined to draw more of a reaction out of him.

He could've drawn out the subject a bit and tired to learn more of the other from it, but unfortunately that didn't seem to work out all too well. Something about the other's touch made it hard to focus really. a fact that Sherlock wasn't entirely sure he hated completely. Of course he wasn't entirely sure he enjoyed it either, but he could let himself mull it over on the ride home.

He started to respond but found himself faltering a moment when the other's fingers slid just a bit higher, subconsciously leaning into the touch briefly before he caught himself. He stepped back, just out of the other's reach to avoid any further embarrassment, forcing himself not to look flustered. Though he surely felt it at the moment. He didn't like that feeling at all.

"It's not like I can do much else.", he shrugged, his cool facade back in place now that he was well out of Moriarty's reach. Even then he couldn't keep it up all too long while facing the other. A problem he remedied by turning to look for his coat instead, anything to avoid those dark eyes.

"Well, you are right about that."He agreed, amusement flashing in his eyes even as he screwed his features up in a mocking pout when the other moved out of his reach. Raising an eyebrow, he let his hand fall back down to his side, sliding them into his pockets casually.

Still, it was rather fun. Watching the other get upset, or perhaps aroused he wasn't sure, just by a simple touch. So much so that he casually wandered closer when Sherlock turned to find his coat.

"Leaving, so soon, Sherlock?"He teased, his tone soft as if upset that the other would want to flee his room, let alone his flat. Sliding his hand over the small of Sherlocks back, he leaned in, eyes flickering upwards. "And here I thought we were having fun" Not exactly his type of fun, but it was still good enough to see how flustered he could cause the other to get as he slid his fingers up and down the other mans back slowly before leaning in as if sharing a secret with him.

He didn't respond to the comment, simply making a soft sound of agreement, a little too wrapped up in just how he was going to explain his absence. John usually always accompanied him when he went out...he couldn't really remember whether or not this was the odd night out. If he was lucky he wouldn't have to sneak back in his own flat with a thoroughly made up excuse...though part of him vaguely wondered why he'd need to make up anything at all. It wasn't exactly like the other man was his keeper. Perhaps he was a bit more in denial about last night than he wanted to admit.

He'd been so lost in thought he'd barely noticed Moriarty's presence until the other was right beside him, the light touch making him tense. He muttered a curse, forcing himself to take a slow and steady breath to steel his nerves. The other could obviously read him like a book, the fact that he seemed to be enjoying this all a bit too much was a clear hint at that.

"As if you expected me to linger all day? You might think I'm slow on the uptake, but neither of us is really stupid enough to think that.", he scoffed, pointedly ignoring the fact that the other was too close for comfort. It was bad enough he was fighting with himself on whether or not to give into the urge to give in or simply flee while he had his wits about him. When Moriarty leaned in, he reflexively leaned back, unintentionally pressing back against the other's touch. This wasn't working.

He hardly cared when or what Sherlock told the little sidekick. Then again, he was hardly interested in John Watson unless he wanted to use him to get to Sherlock. As he sometimes did, for the moment though he was much more interested in making the other man as flustered as possable. Amused that his touch, his very presence, seemed to cause various recations other then curiousty as it used to do.

"Don't be ridicilious, Sherlock."He scoffed, the edge of his tone condesiding even as he trailed his fingers higher up the man's back. "Your welcome to leave whenever you want."He informed him, raising an eyebrow higher as if daring him to do such a thing. Though he would hardly move to stop him if he did.

Instead his grin widened before he leaned in, pressing a soft kiss against the warm skin of Sherlocks neck. It wasn't meant to be affecationate, merly a test to see what it would make the other man do, if anything.

"I'm not being ridiculous.", he retorted almost instantly, unable to help but feel slightly defensive about the subject at hand. Just because they slept together didn't mean he'd let his guard down completely and it wasn't as if he was naive enough to even entertain the idea that this was anything more. He took a soft breath to steady himself, feeling the annoyance seem to dull a little, even with Moriarty's hands on him.

The press of the other's lips to his skin brought an instant reaction, or at least one a lot less thought out than the detective preferred. He grabbed the other by the shoulders as if to push him away, but his fingers slid down instead to grasp him by the front of his shirt. He pulled him in without hesitation, the kiss he pressed to the other's lips uncharacteristically impulsive. There was no romantic notion behind it, no tenderness, simply a means to silence the other and wipe that stupid grin off of his face.

"Your always a bit ridiculous, Sherlock."He teased, letting his breathe rebound of the soft skin of the others neck as he buried the grin against his neck. At least, he thought he was always ridiculious and far to easy to distract. So much so that his expirment seemed to be working rather well, riling the other up.

Raising an eyebrow at the touch, he looked down at Sherlocks hands before glancing up once more. About to say something further when Sherlock really did take him by suprise with the kiss. It showed, just for a brief moment as his eyes grew slightly wide before he returned the kiss roughly.

"Excuse me if I choose to disagree with that.", Sherlock sighed, ignoring the urge to roll his eyes at the other. It seemed just a bit too childish at the moment really and there were more important things to worry about at the moment.

He moved his hands from the other's shirt, closing the distance between them easily enough. At least it seemed a lot easier without the other babbling on as he was before. He didn't mind the rough press of the other, slipping an arm around him to keep him close as he bit sharply on his lower lip.

"Disagree all you want. Sherlock Holmes."He mummered, sliding his hands up as if to straighten the other mans tie carefully. The smirk still slightly in place as he looked up, dark gaze meeting the others.

Kissing back deeply, Moriarty easily pressed himself against the other man, fingers fanning out over Sherlocks chest as he shivered to the slight nip. A soft growl escaping him

He didn't bother responding to the other's comment, choosing instead to press into his touch. This time he didn't flinch away from the other's gaze, though the smirk still seemed to irk him just enough to make him scowl.

He deepened the kiss slightly, his arms slipping around the other, stroking slowly up his sides as tugging just a little at his shirt.

He did enjoy irking Sherlock on ocission, though this was slowly becoming less and less like one of those moments. Sliding his fingers down the other mans chest, he pressed himself further against the other man, tugging at his bottom lip.

Unable to help the shiver that ran through him at the soft touch of the other, he slid his own fingers under Sherlocks shirt, tracing the soft skin teasingly.

He parted his lips at the tug, deepening the kill just a little before pulling back for a breath. Though of course it doesn't really stop his fingers. He leans in, his lips pressing to the warm skin of the other's neck, his fingers already working open the buttons of Moriarty's shirt. He presses just a little into the other man's touch, practically purring against his neck at the brush of fingers to his skin.

Tilting his head to give the other better access, his eyes slowly grew hooded as he slid his fingers higher under the others shirt. Licking his lips he, barley, held back the soft groan at the warm touch. Unable to stop the rather noticable shiver from going through him and pressed himself against Sherlock.

Leaning in, he nipped at the others mans neck and collar bone, fiddling with with buttons of Sherlocks shirt in return.

He pulled open the other's shirt easily enough, pressing him back against the wall as he kissed and bit over the other's neck and chest. His fingers made short work of his pants next, vaguely why the other bothered getting dressed in the first place if this had been the plan all along.

Of course, it had hardly been his plan. Not in the long run, anyway. No, he had simply wanted to see riled up the other got at his game. The small touches, the flirting, it was a tad bit fun. Bit this? This was so much more fun. Watching him get all hot and bothered, part of him wandered why he hadn't done this before.

Arching easily into the kisses, a small groan escaped him as he slid his fingers under Sherlocks shirt in return. Tracing the warm skin before sliding it off him, dark gaze flicking up to meet the others expectingly.
