The Morning After Meme

Last night was pretty wild, or maybe it wasn't. You have just woken up, but you are not alone. Perhaps it is a stranger lying next to you, perhaps it's someone you know. It might be your significant other, or a one night stand. The fact remains that you are in bed together, naked (or maybe not) and something happened. [ Waking up next to Mr. Kite has become rather commonplace, really. Max isn't even surprised to open his eyes and find the man snoring next to him. The sight brings a smile to his face -- he's always loved Kite best when he looks normal, less like the bastard offspring of a can of glitter and a circus. Pillowing his head on his arms, Max just watches Kite as he sleeps, a serene smile on his face. ]

[Mr. Kite was dreaming. He dreamed constantly, yes, but especially when he was asleep. In his dream the clouds were trampolines and if he could just reach a little higher... just a little, he was sure he could steal a handful of sunlight from the sun. In his dream Mr. Kite had just touched the sun with his fingertips when a swan dove in front of him. He growled in frustration and seized the bird by the wings, tumbling head over feathers until the cloud below flung him upward again. Letting the bird go, he sighed as it flew straight toward the sun. It was taunting him. After one last flip, Mr. Kite let himself fall through the cloud. And fall... and fall...]
