We all masturbate, it's nothing to be ashamed of. It's also something most prefer to keep private. But sometimes, people forget to knock while we're in the middle of things, and awkwardness ensues.

1) Embarrassment Yeah, someone just caught you in a very private act and you kind of wish the ground would swallow you up. Now.

2) Anger How dare someone barge in on you without knocking! You'll give them a piece of your mind right now.

3) Excitement Exhibitionism happens to be a major turn-on for you, so you'll just continue~ Maybe even ask them to give you a hand, hehehe...

4) Apathy Big deal, it's not like they've been living in a bubble where they never knew masturbation existed, and if they were they had to find out about it sometime.

5) Squick Either it was a family member who just walked in on you or you just feel so utterly dirty at having been caught doing something so personal.

6) Delayed reaction You didn't even notice they were there until after you finished.

7) Derailed reaction Oh no you've been--what is that on their head? Wait, the world's ending now? D-did you just see that unicorn? Worry about being caught later, figure out what the hell is going on first.

8) Frustration COME ON, EVERY TIME!

9) Relief Thank GOODNESS someone came by! Otherwise you'd have had to stop and go grab that toy/pillow/remote for the annoying stereo yourself. Also they could maybe swap discs because this movie isn't really doing it for you. What do you mean it's inappropriate? It's not like you're asking them to watch.

"I didn't think knocking was really...I mean I've never needed to." He murmured, his tone slightly rushed. He couldn't help it if he was a bit embarrassed. Sure technically he was walking in on himself, but in a way he wasn't really. There were differences. Ones he couldn't help but notice.

He forced himself to turn around, only because he really couldn't stop looking, shrugging when he realized the other asked who he was exactly. "That's not really important..I mean it's important, but right now it just...I'm sorry, can is it possible for you to put some pants on, Doctor?"

He waited just a half a minute or so before turning back around, clearing his throat while the other changed. He was still sort of gawking, but it was sort of hard to ignore a naked version of yourself. Who cared if it was vain?

He dug in his jacket pocket a moment before pulling out two small items. The TARDIS' key and of course his sonic. "You asked who I was and I know you're brilliant so...what do these tell you? Go ahead take your time, but don't really because I think once you realize that things are going to go very bad very soon. Not that this wasn't bad. Well...it wasn't really, kind of a nice surprise and it's not even my birthday. Our birthday. Do we have one of those? I know humans go on and one about those things, but I don't think I've ever celebrated one. Have you?"

	He stared for a moment, then snatched the key from him. It was his key. The same key. He could feel the energies flowing through it. He raised his head, then more gently took the screwdriver. "Okay then...just go ahead and take what you like.", he murmured, feeling a bit put off the other was so focused on the key. He couldn't help but smile however, when he took a slightly gentler tone with the sonic, tucking his hands in his pockets with a shrug. "Sort of had to really. Last one got kind of chewed up. I know it looks a bit different, but still does the trick. Well...unless it's wood. For some reason it won't work on wood."

"So? What do you think, Doctor? Not too bad, right? Though we probably should get to the controls and make sure the universe is still in one piece. I think the last time this happened the explosion was supposed to be the size of Belgium...I wonder if that's changed really."

He seemed almost excited when the other agreed to come along, halfway out the door when he caught that last bit, a frown spreading on his lips. "I'm wearing clothes, obviously. Why? Don't you like them?", he asked curiously, doing a quick little spin so the other could get a better look. "I know it's not the 'cool' leather jacket thing you've got, but I think I look rather good."

"Not yet, but you will. So you're still technically as much of a twit as I am.", he shrugged, letting go of the other once it was apparent he was going to follow. He wasn't quite sure, but something about leading himself around like a school child probably wasn't the best idea. He was already moody enough as it was.

He paused at that last bit, stopping so abruptly and turning it was sure to cause a collision with the other. "Oh. Was that because I walked in on...?", he asked, not finishing the sentence because the thought still made him blush a bit. "Sorry about that. With stuff like this you can't really predict what you're walking into."

"Oh. You mean the whole...yeah. I try not to focus on that really. Find it gets in the way of the whole 'saving the universe' thing.", he shrugged, trying his best not to simply dismiss the subject since it was obvious this was still a rather painful ordeal for the other. He cupped his face gently, a soft smile on his lips. "I know you don't believe me now...you might never really. It'll be fine. Everything will. Sort of. I mean not really since the universe wouldn't really need us if everything went smoothly for once. You know what I mean though, Doctor. It never gets easier, the pain is always there, but you'll come to find there's more to life than a bit of pain, yeah?"

He pulled back quickly, crossing his arms over his chest. "Just how far along is this for you anyways?"

He frowned just a little when the other pulled away, the slight helplessness in this situation making his chest ache just a bit. It wasn't his place to try and fix that though. The lesson would come much later for the Doctor and thankfully by the hand of someone better. Someone he trusted more than almost anyone else really...well besides himself of course.

"Oh? I bet she is.", he nodded, motioning for the other to follow. "Well let's sort this mess out already. The faster we do, the less time you'll have to spend staring at my cool tie."

He caught the other's look but chose not to comment really. At this point in his life he was going through enough without any sort of extra comments from himself. Instead he led the other to the TARDIS' controls, his TARDIS' controls, setting to work almost immediately since he figured the other would catch on quick. He was the Doctor after all and regardless of the other's opinion of him, he couldn't help but have a sort of blind admiration of the other.

"Not really. It'd be a bit egotistical to say that you're brilliant because of me but...without you I don't think I'd be half of anything I am now.", he shrugged, pulling down a screen and focusing on that instead as his fingers worked just a bit faster. He frowned after a moment, tilting his head. "No, you're right. still sounds sort of egotistical. Then again that's never stopped me from complimenting myself before...so take that as you will."
