"Oh. You mean the whole...yeah. I try not to focus on that really. Find it gets in the way of the whole 'saving the universe' thing.", he shrugged, trying his best not to simply dismiss the subject since it was obvious this was still a rather painful ordeal for the other. He cupped his face gently, a soft smile on his lips. "I know you don't believe me now...you might never really. It'll be fine. Everything will. Sort of. I mean not really since the universe wouldn't really need us if everything went smoothly for once. You know what I mean though, Doctor. It never gets easier, the pain is always there, but you'll come to find there's more to life than a bit of pain, yeah?"
He pulled back quickly, crossing his arms over his chest. "Just how far along is this for you anyways?"
