Good Ending/Bad Ending meme
Do you get a happily ever after? Or a 'Rocks fall, everyone dies'? Why not both?

* Post your characters and set up two scenes. One with an ideal setting (They got what they always wanted, hit it big, became rich and famous, etc.) and one with a bad twist of events (They're homeless, everyone hates them, maybe they're even dying!).
* Others respond to one of the two settings (Or both in different comments, if they want!)
* Respond.
* ???
* Profit!!!

Just remember: no ending is set in stone, good endings can turn sour, and bad endings can be made better. Just see where it takes you and enjoy the ride!

It was a dozen crawfish in the bucket she'd salvaged from the creekbed, "Breakfast of champions." She said with her usual quick grin. She patted his arm then, unfolding to her feet, "I'll be right back."

She moved easily through the underbrush, scaling the tree as easily as most people went up stairs, more easily than some, even. Shielding her eyes against the sun she took a look around them, shimmying down again, "Looks like we might be at the edge of a campground, seems to be more controlled wilderness to the east, regular open spaces."

Bruce really hadn't eaten crawfish before...but he had probably eaten worse while being on the run. He watches her go up and then back down again. "Kind of isolated...might be able to find a shirt there." Bruce did hate taking things, but desperate times called for desperate measures. His pants were pretty well torn up too.

He tastes one of the crawfish experimentally, not really sure how to eat them.

"Here." She said, pulling one out of the water herself, cracking the shell with her fingers to pick out the meat, "Kind of tastes like river water and sediment, but it's better than nothing."

Her nose wrinkled, even so, "Might need another apple as a palate cleanser, I forget how much I really don't like crawfish."

Bruce tries to mimic her movements with the crawfish, trying not to make a face as he eats. It was better than nothing, yes, but it was pretty bad.

The apple was better. At least that tasted like real food. It's apparent they will have to find real food eventually. Being the Hulk burns through many calories at once, not to mention all of those drugs were gone from his system. A bonus. Even if he still looked like a skinny, pale, drug addict.

She scooped out a hollow in the sand at the creekside, dumping the shells into it and covering them before dousing the fire, "You ready? Pretty much a straight shot from here to the nearest clearing, can't be more than a mile off, probably less than that, might take us an hour to get there, if we dawdle."
