Good Ending/Bad Ending meme
Do you get a happily ever after? Or a 'Rocks fall, everyone dies'? Why not both?

* Post your characters and set up two scenes. One with an ideal setting (They got what they always wanted, hit it big, became rich and famous, etc.) and one with a bad twist of events (They're homeless, everyone hates them, maybe they're even dying!).
* Others respond to one of the two settings (Or both in different comments, if they want!)
* Respond.
* ???
* Profit!!!

Just remember: no ending is set in stone, good endings can turn sour, and bad endings can be made better. Just see where it takes you and enjoy the ride!

Good ending
There was a grim satisfaction in her expression, reflected in the flickering firelight from the burning Facility building. The project hadn't been disbanded, she knew, but they had certainly put a crimp in further experiments, and it would take them some time to rebuild or regroup or both. And this time the Garrison would be watching, they had feelers everywhere, they'd know where it was happening and they'd be there to put a stop to it.
They were the only successful group to come out of it, they were going to make sure they stayed that way, for the good of everyone.

Bad ending
She'd been caught, and they'd figured out how to apply the right stimuli to use her as a compass to find the others, milking her for information. Mostly they did this by way of leaving her in sensory deprivation until they needed something, then they'd give her a map or a picture of who they were after, or they'd play her a recorded phone conversation and she couldn't help but track the possibilities.

They hadn't found any of the other escaped Garrison, but they'd found quite a few other meta-humans. Mutants, genetic experiments, true psychics and their ilk.

Presently she was locked back up in her room, mildly sedated and once again wearing the headgear that blocked both sight and hearing, she was perched on her cot, fingers tangling nervously, though drugged-slowly in the hem of her shirt, she was listing numbers quietly, though there didn't seem to be any discernible pattern to them.
