Good Ending/Bad Ending meme
Do you get a happily ever after? Or a 'Rocks fall, everyone dies'? Why not both?

* Post your characters and set up two scenes. One with an ideal setting (They got what they always wanted, hit it big, became rich and famous, etc.) and one with a bad twist of events (They're homeless, everyone hates them, maybe they're even dying!).
* Others respond to one of the two settings (Or both in different comments, if they want!)
* Respond.
* ???
* Profit!!!

Just remember: no ending is set in stone, good endings can turn sour, and bad endings can be made better. Just see where it takes you and enjoy the ride!

Most of the time it wasn't so bad, he could still keep them in check, but once or twice one of them had taken the reins, so to speak, luckily none of the really despicable ones, oddly enough they were easier for him to control and keep quiet.

His brows both arched at the question in her tone, "Yes, love?"

"Go get cleaned up, please. Dinner's almost done."

She can't help but give a slight smile before shaking her head and grabbing out a few plates. It wasn't anything big or anything like that. Just a nice simple dinner.

Something he appreciated all the same. He could cook for himself, he'd been doing it for years, but it was always nice to have someone else take over once in a while.

"'course." Though, the fact that he didn't return from the bathroom probably wasn't a good sign.

She didn't mind cooking for him. After all he'd do the same for her and had quite a few times. For her and the kids. Though when he doesn't come back out after a few moments she frowns heading down the hall and giving the bathroom door a firm knock.

"Eames?"

There was no answer, though the door was unlocked, he'd just swung it closed behind him.

Right at the moment he was staring at the mirror, more specificially his own eyes, brow furrowed, perplexed and maybe a little alarmed.

Shaking her head she pushes the door open and watches him for a moment. She's not too entirely sure what he's doing to be honest. Moving over Dom places her hand on his shoulder. "Eames?"

He started, just a little at the touch, turning to look at her, brow furrowed, "There's something gone wrong." He said, still sounding puzzled more than anything.

"If there is then we'll take care of it after dinner." Reaching down taking his hand she pulls him away from the bathroom. "Come on. Dinner's ready."

His brow furrowed, shaking his head, "But there's something wrong, Dom." He shook his head again, "With the eyes, they aren't right."

"We've had this conversation before, Eames," she says quietly and patiently. Of how certain things weren't right and there was nothing they could do about it. "Everything will be fine. Like they always are. Trust me."

He shook his head again, tugging away from her grasp, "You can't see it, can you?" Another head shake, "How do you know it's going to be fine if you can't even see what's wrong?"

She does her best to not get agitated by the man before her. Taking his face in her hands she forces him to look at her. "I have been through this with you more than once. I notice far more than you realize. The difference in your eyes, difference in personalities but I've learned to live with it because I love you, Eames. I've learned to..." There's a slight sigh from her lips, "I've learned to adjust to each one of them."

He shook his head, just a little, fingers curling against her wrists for a moment before petting up against the backs of her hands, "It's not them, Dom, it's me." A heavy sigh, lifting one hand through the loop of her arms to knead at the bridge of his nose, "It's always been me, I think."

"You think?" It's soft even as she watches him letting herself move forward a bit to kiss those lips before leaning into him, arm wrapping around his waist. "It doesn't matter what it is, Eames. We'll get through it just like we do everything else." Even if it ended up hurting her in the process.

He sighed heavily again, draping his arms around her lightly, running one hand through her hair, holding her close, "What if it's nothing that can be fixed?"

"Eames, stop it," she says firmly. "We'll be able to fix it one way or another. Now come on. Dinner's going to get cold and its your favorite."

He shook his head again, "I don't know how you can even stand it." He said quietly, but let himself be led back downstairs. all the same.

"I told you how I can stand it," she says simply. She leads him downstairs pulling out his chair. "It's because I love you. Simple as that."

"It is enough, Eames. More than enough or I wouldn't be here with you. Eat up, huh. It's your favorite," she says setting a plate down in front of him along with a glass of wine before sitting down with her own.

"As you wish." He replied, a shadow of his usual cheeky smile returning. It was better than nothing, at least, even if it wasn't perfect.

She gives him a smile and leans back in her chair starting in on her own food. If she was worried about a change in his personality or something else it couldn't be told. Then again she doesn't worry that easily but at least if something does happen the kids weren't with them.
