Summary: Oliver's hobbling around doing some shopping, his daughter in tow.
Oliver walked with his daughter, hand in hand down the way. There were a few witches and wizards around, looking about in the store shoppe windows, discussing the wares and what they'd like to buy. Oliver had dressed in his robes and Paisley had selected her bright blue with the gold trim, Puddlemere robes to wear on their outing in the wizarding shopping district. Oliver preferred to have them dressed up like the locals rather than muggle clothing, mostly because it felt good to be back in them. You didn't always get to dress up in the wizarding clothing when you were out and about in the muggle world. Of course, Paisley and himself knew both worlds, for his mother and her grandmother was a muggle and his parents lived in a muggle area of Scotland. Hogsmeade was a mix of clothing, but they tended to wear their everyday clothing while they were at home.
It had been a nice afternoon for the two of them, and Oliver head from Quality Quidditch Supplies, where both Paisley and himself had their noses pressed up against the glass looking at the brand new brooms that the store had in, to the Apothecary. It was not the most fun store in Diagon, but it was a needed stop where Oliver picked up a few things to make some simple potions at home. He was trying to keep Paisley from picking up every single thing she saw (mostly poking at he flobberworm parts which jiggled about and had her giggling) and consoling her complaints that it smelled funny in the shop while plugging her nose. It was hard to keep the little girl somewhat occupied at times. Oliver had to juggle her and telling the witch behind the counter what he wanted and how much of each. Finally, once Oliver had everything he needed, they made their way out of the busy, claustrophobic shoppe and out on to the street.
Oliver paused, trying to tuck his package that he'd purchased under his arm, while still holding on to his daughter and cane, when a large rat followed by a larger cat run by their feet, causing his daughter to cry out in protest. Paisley wrenched herself free from her father's faint grasp and went chasing after the cat, trying to save the poor rat from it's most certain demise.
"Paisley Wood!" Oliver called after her, but his daughter had already ducked around an older wizard and witch that were holding hands and walking down the way, to find the cat and stop it. Oliver hobbled quickly down the way able to see his daughter's white blond hair in the thin crowd as she ran about. "Paisley!" He called again, his tone annoyed and his leg paining from him trying to walk so quickly. Finally, he spotted her stopped by somebody he couldn't quite see, a firm hand holding on to her shoulder. He approached them as quickly as possible. "Aye thank you for stoppin' her." He said giving his daughter a hard look.
