Hey guys! Ally here, and this is my third baby, Wanda Maximoff aka Scarlet Witch.

She is a junior at Xavier's, and not currently involved in extracurricular activities because of her standoffish nature, though that will change next year. She's a bit cool and unfriendly at first, but warms up much easier than her brother does. She likes kids more than adults, a slight resistance to authority but that's mostly because she hasn't had to play by stuffed shirt rules most of her life. She loves fashion and American culture, and will probably mess up references (Memes? What?). She may have a problem with some humor but as long as it is explained to her to be light-hearted and not judgmental she will take it much better.

Overall she's very gray area, she cares about herself and Pietro, and is not a hero. Her alliances are pretty wishy washy, at best.

I'm bringing her in as if she has already been in the school as long as her twin Pietro, so friends, enemies, frenemies, etc are all appreciated!

Hi guys! My name's Alex (though one or two of you might know me under an old name ¬_¬), and I'm super excited to be here! I think I know one or two of you, but most of the players here are new to me, so a) I'm so excited, b) I'm so excited and c) I'm so scared. I'm 28, English and not particularly interesting otherwise: I manage a research lab, which I am vastly under-qualified for (or was when I started, anyway) but what the hell, it's only millions of pounds worth of equipment and about eight different methods of bringing about the end of the world, right? I apologise for not intro-ing this sooner, but in addition to said lab, I also attended a family wedding this last weekend, and as everybody knows you needs to be extraordinarily drunk for that. Anyway, you don't have to care about me, care about this guy instead!

Hey everyone. Carrie here introducing my newest addition, Josh Foley aka Elixir~ Josh's my personal fave (suck it Kev) so I'm really excited to bring him in and see where I can take him. :D

I'm gonna keep this short and sweet. Josh is the epitome of a jerk with a heart of gold and a flirty one at that (mostly ladies but the occasional guys can catch his eyes.) He is an eager crowd pleaser and will do ridiculous stuff to stay popular (lol hi peer pressure). He has a history of picking on the little guy and hanging out with anti-mutant groups. And he's gonna find out he's a mutant soon. He will be coming in as a junior and rooming with Forge. He's on the Young Allies squad.

Plotty Bits!
• Josh's introduction will involve him showing up with a bunch of other anti-mutants thugs looking for trouble. No, they are not Reavers so don't fret, but they're definitely looking to stir up some troubles. If anyone X-kids want to be in the thick of it as the targets, that would be great! I'm also looking for grads/X-Men to recruit him to the school. Probably after saving his butt from the chaos.
• Once he's at the school, I don't want it widely known that he was rolling with anti-mutant groups. The people in the above point can know, of course, but I kinda want it to be something he would have to hide - which will come to play at a later point.

Hi there! This is Khush and here is the red headed version of Wanda:

Basics are she's a junior at Xavier's with her twin brother Pietro (muchfaster). She is roommates with Regan /waves and is a member of Young Allies squad. Wanda is a mutant and a magic user and if you didn't know (Wanda sure doesn't) her father is Magneto. She's shy and quiet, but is curious about their new life and eager to meet and make friends. She relies on her brother pretty heavily and is learning to trust others. She's afraid of her magic powers after accidentally killing their Roma foster mother with them D: Her and her brother have been on the run for 5 years or so before Magneto tracked them down and plucked them out of another angry mob and brought them to Xavier's doorstep.

I think that's about it! You get the gist ;D I'd love to talk plot and possible lines. She'll be poking around the journals very soon.

Howdy! Korinne here with another bb because I can't get enough...>>

This time it's Pietro Maximoff; aka Quicksilver. This little irritable anti-social fellow has just been brought into the school with his twin sister Wanda by Magneto. They've been through a thing or two together and are super close and nearly inseparable. Pietro has trust issues with other people. Since the death of their mother and expulsion from their home, they've been on the run (sometimes literally) since they were 12. Clinging to each other and doing what they needed to survive. Pietro is very, very, protective of his sister. Though he will seem very standoff-ish, uncaring, and like he generally finds everyone to be annoying... it's possible that he will warm up to people who are willing to get stung a few times first. It's simply been awhile since he's had to play nice.

So! He could use some stubborn/don't know when to quit people to potentially form bonds with. Also, since his a bit annoyed by the population of the world he also needs people to butt heads with.

PS: they don't know who Magneto is as far as what he's done (and his being their father). So perhaps rumors could fly that he was the one that brought them there and ensuing reactions could flow?

PPS: Khush is smart and included connections in Wanda's intro. SO here are some for Pietro: Young Allies Squad - Roomies with Jean-Paul (Speedsters unite!)

EDIT Okay so forgot to mention that these Maximoff twins are old enough to be seniors, but have been placed in the Junior class to ensure they get more education in. They have no previous 'formal' education, just were taught by parents and gypsy community.

Hola! It's Korinne again with my next puppet: Alexander Summers aka Havok!

I'm pretty excited to bring a student into the game to play all of that student-y goodness and fun timez! Alex just came into the school after a Mr. Sinister inspired bully kidnapped he and his foster sister, causing Alex's latent mutation to rear it's head and incinerate the bully. The schools reps got to him before Sinister could make another move and here he is! He's spend most of his life pretending to be someone else (you can read about that here) and now that he's out of his foster home he doesn't know who he's supposed to be. Que the self discovery adventures. Also, he's not too pleased with his new situation and is a little fearful about being a mutant, especially after the MRA that happened not too long ago. He's got no grasp over his energy absorption nor it's subsequent releases once he's reached his 'full' level. So for now he's required to go to the danger room on a fixed schedule and let it do it's thing.

I would love to get him some peeps to help him figure things out, whether to tutor him one on one with his powers, chat it up, or take him out to learn about the world. He's generally a good kid but with everything changing he's looking to push the boundaries and will be willing to cause some trouble. He's really a blank canvas right now and could be made into many things!

Any takers on influencers of who he turns out to be?? Friends? Clashers? Ect?

Greetings, earthlin... umm, fellow students.

I'm Jesse, and I'm new to Insane Journal, although not to roleplaying. The moderators have graciously allowed me to play Noh-Varr, aka Marvel Boy. He's a genetically engineered, teenage Kree Super-Soldier who's recently been released from custody after an unfortunate misunderstanding.

Yes, technically he may have declared war on the human race following the crash of his spaceship and the death of his friends and family, but in his defense, he'd had a rather stressful morning. He's looking forward to learning about Earth Culture in the very bosom of normalcy that is the Stark School.

Noh-Varr's application is a massive wall of text, but here are the high points.

1. Even by Kree standards, Noh-Varr is an odd duck and hasn't had a chance to try to assimilate to Earth Culture.
2. He has all sorts of wacky abilities from the intensive genetic and nano-engineering performed on him, although the vast majority of those abilities have been suppressed.
3. His main conscious goal at the school is to study humanity, much like the famed earth biologist Jane Goodall studied primates.
4. His player's main goal is for Noh-Varr to find his own humanity.

Anyway, I'm new to this community, and I'm looking forward to chatting and playing with you folks.

Howdy! Korinne here; new to these parts and excited to get into the game with Logan. He's warm and fuzzy, and if you don't mind how he plays with claws and teeth like a kitten, then he's totally game for some... game!

I'm happy to hash out some established relationships with current characters and future ones too! I'm not acquainted with all that happened or that anyone would like to see happen with their characters and Logan so feel free to let me know here! I'm actually hoping to get some established relationships with others for Logan so he can jump right in.

He's his typical lone wolf with his soft spot for kiddlets. He's of the opinion that every kid should have the chance to a good childhood and he's become a foster father of sorts to many because of that reason. This also means that he'll poke his wolvy nose into your business if he feels so inclined and will do what he feels is right, even if it isn't ethical or even normal.

He's got some memories coming back to haunt him so there will be times were he may want to investigate further into his past which may very well mean that he'll have to leave every now and then. He cares for the students and is loyal to Xavier, but if things are going well then he doesn't have a problem with doing his own thing.

EDIT: That being said, he doesn't remember pieces of his life before Weapon X. Though I would like to play it out that he clears those things up and separates the the truth from the false memories.

Hello Marvel Preppers. It's James, the lovable tramp with a new character. Behold, I brink you LOKI LAUFEYSON ODINSON!

Brother to the newcomer Thor, Loki is also from Asgard but not here for the reasons he says he is. So the stories go, Loki got Thor thrown out of Asgard for being an arrogant brat so that he would be Odin's top pick to take over Asgard when Odin is ready to step down. Of course, much to Loki's dismay, Odin STILL thinks that with his teachings on Earth, Thor will be able to regain his power, learn a lesson and rule Asgard. Loki is having none of that. So Loki convinced Odin to let him join Thor on Earth so he could help guide his brother back to the right path, though really Loki is just here to make sure Thor gets in a hell of a lot of trouble and never gets his power back!

However, being on Earth, Loki is starting to see some of the few reasons why people seem to like Earth so much. Even thinking that it may indeed be a nice summer-kingdom away from Asgard he could rule. He is quite unfamiliar with Earth's customs and is still new to the whole...modern etiquette thing. Though he is far quicker to adapt than his bother Thor. Loki also wears glasses. Does he need them? No. It's a trick to make people think he is smart and vulnerable.

Unlike Thor, Loki has come to Earth WITH his powers still intact, however he is not nearly as powerful as he is on Asgard, and is still young. He can cast illusions and incredibly minor spells, like changing his appearance. He is also a Frost Giant Asgardian so he's pretty damn strong and dense and can take a lot of damage before it really hurts. He will certainly enjoy being stronger than his brother for once.

If you wish to scheme with the schemer, or befriend him, or plot against him, or love him, or hate him, let me know! Loki certainly needs enemies, friends, allies and minions.

Marissa here with character number six, the Mighty Thor!

Thor is coming in this year as a Junior, and he's at Stark School because he tried to slay some frost giants and was banished to Earth for his own good. (Odin hopes that the school can keep him in line). Currently, he doesn't have access to Mjolnir and is almost human as a result of his punishment (albeit a really tough, really ripped human).

Thor's kind of at the point in his life where he hasn't grown up yet. He's brave but also kind of a jerk about it. You can read all about him here or you can jump right into scene with him because he just got hit by the shuttle bus here.

Hello everyone!

I'm the new kid here, after finally being talked into joining by Bret. It only took a year, I think. I'm Ren, and I bring you the single most epic hero on the Marvel universe. In canon, she's defeated anyone she's gone up against, but here, she's just sweet little Doreen Green, aka squirrel_girl!

For those of you not familiar with this particular hero, here are the facts:
- Born in LA, recently moved to NYC with her parents
- 15 years old, mutated at 13
- Comes complete with squirrel tail, retractable knuckle spikes, and sidekick (Monkey Joe)
- Telepathically communicates with her squirrel army
- ridiculously perky and sweet

She is going to be a new student at Xavier, and if any new graduates would like to come interrupt her current attempt to thwart a dangerous criminal in Central Park and recruit her, that would be awesome.

As for her player, I'm in my mid 30's, and a full time minister and seminary student. (Don't worry, I am not easily offended!) I'm a dork who loves comic books and role playing games, geology, and I read like it is going out of style.

Hey all, Kelly bringing back Bucky "Winter Solider" Barnes to the game. (After a bit of an ooppss with me being a flake regarding updating.) So. Things remain the same! Except for the last two weeks-ish he's been on a super secret mission (so secret I don't even know all the details) for SHIELD. Busy you know - doing SHIELD stuff, like SHIELD agents do.

But he's back! Today-ish. He missed all the "fun" but yeah, back. And summer school reading club, it's going to happen! First rule is you don't talk about book club.

Hey guys, this is Nat with my final character, Bobbi Morse AKA Mockingbird. She's a TA at Stark's, and still a SHIELD agent, but she has no idea any other agents are at the school yet. She's arriving amidst the Phoenix chaos, and I'm sure she'll be reporting back to Nick Fury about anything she finds out. Her cover is that she's arrived now to settle in for the next school year, and get to know the other staff and facilities. She's nice enough so come say hi!

Also apologies for being so slow the last couple of weeks, transition at work has now begun, and I'm in my 10 week trial period for my promotion now. My shifts work out fairly well though, so I should be less tired and able to tag in more! Hello! So it's Lisa here with a returning character, the lovely Gwen Stacy. Gwen has spent a good bit of time down in FL getting help with dealing with her father's death and her own kidnapping. It was much needed but school got VERY boring for her. She's back in NY looking to further her education and also make some ammends.

She's currently going to be rooming with Jane Foster and I'm looking forward to all the plots!!

Hello Everyone!

This is Brett with #7! I'm back to my highest character account in the game, and I'm bringing you Luke Cage! Or as he's known right now by his real name, Carl Lucas. Carl is the subject of a secret Super Soldier project that's given him unbreakable skin, super strength and stamina, and ideas on how to monetize his newfound powers!

From Harlem, not all that far from the Stark School, he's born and raised on Manhattan Island, and has a vision of his future that includes fame, money, and adoring fans. He also brings up an interesting point. Firefighters and police get paid, why not super-heroes?

That philosophy will be evolving, but in the meantime he's transferring into the school in the coming year and he brings focus, determination, and fun with him.

Hey everyone,

This is Chrissie, bringing back a character of mine I played previously. I bring you, Gertrude Yorkes (a.k.a. Arsenic) and her dino-pal Old Lace.

Last we left Gert she and Chase just broke up and she was a junior, I believe. Well, she went through summer school and graduated early and began attending WakaU in the fall. She became super active in anti-MRA stuff, went to protests, probably wrote a blog about it, etc. She still lived at the Stark School during that time (and still does, actually) because her friends and Old Lace were still there, so what was the point of living somewhere else?

She's been MIA though, so nobody, except Nico and maybe Karolina (Marissa?), has actually seen her, because she's certainly avoided Chase, though she wouldn't say she was avoiding him. Gert did make friends in college from the political activist groups she became a part of and college also led to some physical changes for Gert. She's not super skinny, but she has lost some weight, and she also has a couple of piercings, and a couple tattoos as well! Though one she never intends anyone ever to see. >.>

Also, she and SHIELD are starting to have a "mutual understanding," meaning that Gert isn't as anti-SHIELD as she used to be, so chances are they'll be trying to recruit her at some point in game.

He has his own room, is friendly and a genuinely honest guy.

Oy, say hello! This is Drew with a new one! Meet Patrick Mahoney - AKA Ramrod of Nasty Boys fame. He was born and half-raised in Cork, Ireland but eventually got adopted out after his parents died in a fire (that he didn't set, at all. No really, he wasn't that dark). When his adopted parents finally gave him a key to the house, people broke in, he was trying to hide under the sofa and whoops, he accidentally touched the hardwood floors and the wood came alive! Yippee! He always carries around toothpicks and typically has one parked in the corner of his mouth in case he needs a really skinny walking stick for something.

Pat is a manic personality. He doesn't like quiet and will talk and talk just to have words fill the space. Tommy, better watch out, Patrick's your new roommate!

Patrick is just coming to the school as the late-bloomed mutation happened at the tail end of his last school year. His adopted parents are super understanding and, along with actually having a 'proper' child now (as he puts it) have decided Patrick should move there during the summer to get adjusted.
