| This game is taking the DC Universe and offering it to the player. The Justice League of America follow in the footsteps of the JSA. The Teen Titans, composed of several sidekicks of the JLA, is formed. Many foes native to earth pose a threat to the peace and order of many parts of the world in a world of uncertainty heroes rise to the challenge to meet them head on. How they are played and how we get there is up to us, the players. We give you full creative license. It is all up to us, as the players. Xavier is gone! He left with Lilandra six months ago; of course he left Cyclops and Jean Grey in charge. In his absence things have gone very wrong; when the government finally learned the truth about the existence of mutants they made a deal with Cyclops. In exchange for the asylum and acceptance of the government the X-Men would be a new branch of the United States Government. It seemed like a dream come to true for the Soldier at Heart; he accepted the dealing willingly and for a while things seemed to work out just fine.
Eventually Wolverine began to sense that something was wrong with the situation and he decided to dig a little deeper. He took a few of the younger X-Men that were loyal to him and broke into one of the government buildings where the X-Men had been taking the 'Dangerous Mutants', so that they could be monitored. This is where Wolverine learned that his instincts were dead on, and after helping the captured mutants escape they returned to the X-Mansion to tell Cyclops and the others what they had saw. Unfortunately when they turned up Cyclops wouldn't even listen to them; in his eyes they had betrayed him and he kicked them out of the Mansion, despite Jean's wishes. A few of the other X-Men that believed Wolverine and the others left as well, but the majority of the students stayed at the school.
So, now Wolverine and his followers were known only as The Renegades, and saw only one solution. Now that he had made himself and the others criminals he had to find someone to help them survive on the streets. So, he made an Alliance with the Brotherhood. It turned out that Magneto new what was going on all along and he had plans of his own on how to stop it. After all they had some of his own followers in their other facilities.
