Eli and Faihan have tapped everyone that they can think of to come to Azúcar on Sunday to try to get to the bottom of things. Because Faihan is not exactly a people person, he will be very happy to leave it to bigger and more charismatic personalities (like Eli or Ale) to battle it out to guide their brainstorming session.
Located in the Harbor District, Azúcar is laid out like so: the counter directly faces the front door, and behind that is the kitchen (visible through an open doorway); going along the right side of the counter is a thin corridor that leads to the toilet, as well as the patio/sitting area. It's a fairly industrial looking space, but green. Like the balcony of his apartment, Faihan uses it to grow his own herbs and some fruits, and there are some flowers around, too. The patio is mostly hidden by a tall wooden fence, but there's a gate that opens up into a kind of common area for the shops and restaurants around (with dumpsters and meagre parking). It's a very short walk from the bakery to the boardwalk.
If you want your character to know about this and attend, they are 100% welcome to do so! Don't be shy.
And if your character did attend the meeting, all of the below is now fair game for them to know...
PRESENT DAY WEIRD
Eli mentioned that he'd been there for both monster attacks.
Faihan (re: the mist monster): "When I arrived at the park...it was like the mist turned into something solid...an animal, but not an animal. It was attacking Eli and me, and then out of nowhere, this person in black armor...just appeared and stabbed it with a sword. The monster turned back into mist, and the person in armor disappeared..."
Wren verifies, but she adds seeing a mysterious man (or man shape) before the first attack. She doesn't have a whole lot of theories on it beyond it's likely they're setting them off somehow. Maybe on accident? Maybe on purpose?
Mabel (re: the tree monster): "That dog [Sondheim, Eli's new bff] came up to Eli and...led us into the trees, where this giant tree monster was holding Yuuki in the air! So we fought it, and it dropped Yuuki, and then it grabbed me, and then we fought it some more, and then all of a sudden, Eli turned into a samurai and cut straight through the tree! It was like an anime!"
Juliet added a few of her own notes to the story and then added, cryptically, that she couldn't wait to unlock her super powers. (She was just being weird, though.)
James and Kaveh hadn't seen any shadow men or monsters around, but James said she had heard a few strange stories from other divers from time to time and thought there was a possibility that something supernatural was happening.
Alejo brought up a bird, which he said he believed was surveilling them, showing photos of a quetzal. He then went on about government conspiracies. Faihan actually saw the bird, except pink, watching them during the meeting, and yelled about it, but it flew away before anyone else could see it. Wren and Mabel verified that the bird was the bird they'd randomly found "haunting" Ofelia's closet a short while back.
THE "OTHER WORLD"
Icchi brought up the recurring dream that they all had before the memories started returning: "Did anyone else have the dream about the battle? With the ... Crystals? Stained glass?" There wasn't a lot of discussion about it, though several others also verified they'd had the dream. Chelo did bring up Santi's theory: that someone did something really cool and maybe that's how the battle had ended. But the meaning of "Why did you do this, [redacted]?" remains a mystery.
Multiple people mentioned that they remembered this magical Greco-Roman-esque school.
Eli shared what he could recall of Kyo's life (he was a prince, engaged to someone he was uncomfortable marrying, and he'd had a complicated relationship with fire), including Guren (unnamed)—saying it reminded him of Asia. He then showed the group what the strange stone did when he held it and allowed others to interact with it to see if they had the same experience. (It did not do anything for anyone else.)
Kaveh noted that the academic setting also mirrors his present life. However, he added that he was experiencing memories of fighting in wars. At first, he thought it had to do with the fact he grew up during a war, but he'd never fought in one. Also, he mentioned that this other him seemed to be some sort of magic teacher.
Mabel thought she might have tried feuding with a prince, but she couldn't remember well.
Chelo said he remembered something about churches and princes and Light and being some kind of bodyguard or servant to those princes.
Faihan shared what he could recall about Simurgh (unnamed)—that it was a hidden country that worshipped music, and his double ("Badr") seemed to be a priest. He brought up "Cinna" and "Zuya," who he speculated were relatives of Badr, as well as a pair of twin princes—one of them being "Titus" [who they might guess is Alejo since Faihan was looking at him that whole time], who seemed to be a really important figure not just at the school, but worldwide.
James and Zuya agreed that the names "Zuya," "Badr," and "Cinna" seemed familiar. Jomana also seemed piqued by what Eli was saying about Kyo. James said besides that, she remembered a deep silence and the color blue.
Alejo had a list of names, though he couldn't match all of them to faces. (Ostensibly, besides those brought up by Faihan: Gaius, Pius, Kyojiro, Maetí, Ode, Seneca, Yrsa...the characters who interacted on posts on the Elysia comm so far...) Then he jumped to a lot of conclusions, deciding that the situation had to be reincarnation and not listening to any other theory.
