So, I have a question--

[Roxas has been into the yule ball, felt uncomfortable for a little bit, and then went back outside again where there are fewer people and the air is crisp and cold. He has his ATs on and is skating around on walls or shooting down the street at vehicular speeds around Sector 6 outside. He pauses, skating lazily in a circle while he thinks out his question.]

--Why are people giving each other gifts? Isn't that Santa Claus's job?

I haven't really met all that many strangers. Why would I want to do things for people I haven't met? [he is genuinely confused]

That's not a very nice thing to say! And you'll never know what kind of person they are anyway unless you at least try to get to know them and sometimes they just need a little something to get over their shyness!

A gift is a great way to strike up a conversation.

You don't have anyone you'd like to give something to? Even among the people you do know?

[And Aqua's stepping outside for a breather. She feels very out of place, from her dress (which is more practical than what a lot of people are wearing) to the crowd. Not that Aqua particularly minds either (she's very fond of that dress, thank you very much) but this party is a little much.]

[She'll wave at Roxas, but that's it for the moment. He looks like he's having fun, at least.]

Skating. [he slows, and shifts onto one leg, holding up one leg a little to show the inline roller blades] They're called Air Trecks -- they're electric skates. Akito made them for me! [and he's very pleased with them, can't you see]
