[She shakes her head, still wearing a soft smile, and approaches him with measured strides, her steps seeming to glide beneath her gown. She stops in front of him, enough space between them that it should be comfortable but little enough that she can press her index finger to his lips, gently, for one moment before retracting it.]
No apologies. I understand. [She smiles up at him, because she honestly does.]
[Her hand lifts again, this time her fingertips brush his face, near to his newly-healed eye. It truly was beautiful.] Not only does it help you to see, it also helps me to see you.
