[ the word "sucked" doesn't begin to describe yesterday, and Kanda is still not in a good mood, even twenty-four hours later. he's done his best, all day, to avoid people -- stayed off the network, off the main streets; in fact, he spent most of the day holed up in his own apartment, tending to the too-many potted and hanging plants therein.

he's pruning back one plant right now, and his expression is -- as it is so rarely -- almost peaceful. there are things he needs to say, do... but it's late now, and they'll sit for one more day. right? ]

[ under any other circumstances Lenalee would have left him to cool off for as long as she could handle, but there's something about geassed pink-haired princesses that make her nervous

having heard nothing from him, and having no idea whether or not he'd answer his communicator, and having previous experience with the comfort that comes from just knowing where he is, she knocks ]
