Back!
Oh good god have I been away too long. Unannounced. ... I'm sorry. I FINALLY finished cross stitching my daughter's xmas stocking. I just have to now sew it into a stocking shape, which is actually the hard part, but the time consuming cross stitch is finally done. So I should be back to tagging fairly regularly. Of course, xmas is right around the corner, but I'll do my best.

Aww, cross stitch stocking sounds adorable (and very time-consuming)! Picture please, when it's finished!

I'm knitting like mad to get my son's TARDIS scarf finished, too. Keep getting distracted by making decorations and gift ribbons instead!

Very adorable and very time consuming. I ended up letting my mom do the actual piecing and sewing together because she's better at that sort of thing than I am. And I wanted it to look good after I went through all that trouble to cross stitch the thing! I will post a picture probably Christmas day. IT's of course hanging right now, and I already stuffed it so I wouldn't forget on Christmas!

Good luck on the TARDIS scarf! Hope it turns out!

Awesome! :-)

The scarf is almost finished, actually - picture here if you're interested! I'm doing it for his birthday celebration on Tuesday rather than Christmas Day, so I've got a couple more days to knit a few more inches, graft the two ends together, sew in the loose threads and put some tassels on the ends... okay that sounds like quite a lot now...!
