Haha. Well, Martha's not taking any of your punk magician's attitude!

Clara is pretty hit or miss. She's my husband's favorite companion. I like her simply because she's not Rose or Amy, but I like Donna and Martha more. Clara also has the problem of being part of Moffat era Who and I'll never watch Moffat era episodes again, so my opinion of her is based off my first impression.

Martha, be the first in the line of "Did you mean John Constantine that asshole who says he plays with magic?" Dooo it.

I still need to watch her last season (so many shows), but she had a fascinating character arc as the mystery that... lets be real, Series 7 was a total mess. It is a great concept but played out horribly. But, I love her character and what she brings. She's my favorite, but I love Donna and Martha as well. So, hopefully you enjoy the shenanigans with John!

I think I might roll with Helen. Imagine her trying to set up a Sanctuary hahaha

... I can't remember which one season 7 was. I can tell you minute details from seasons 1 - 4, but seasons 6 - 8 are all a muddy jumble in my brain.

But yes, I am enjoying John so far!

Also, I'm canonblind on Helen. All I know of her is what our previous Helen did in Marina which was set up a clinic, encouraged Martha to join said clinic, and drank tea with Martha. I think she had a relationship with Picard too. She might have been Martha's first female friend in the game. ... Every time Martha makes a female friend, they get lost to the dimensional stabilizer.

Series 7 was the one split between Amy and Rory leaving then Clara being introduced!

It's pretty close to what Helen does. She sets up, basically, living facilities for supernatural/magical/mysterious/rare/ect creatures and people to live in safety out of the eye of the public. I'm not sure my IJ Helen's account has some info on it (like I set up one for John), so I'll do that for her. She ends up being more less Mom To All.
