Body Swap Event Info!
The engineers have been thinking about the physical form and the affect it has on your personality and mindset. Maybe it's not too healthy to get so attached. Maybe it's time to switch things up for a little while. And so they spent a day tinkering. You might have noticed the AIs were busy assisting, but it was all worth it because...

DAY 268 IS BODY SWAP DAY!

When your character wakes up the morning of Day 268 (even if they didn't mean to fall asleep) one of the following will have occurred:

1. Body Trade. They wake up in their own bed (or couch or coffin or whatever they sleep on) but with the body of someone else currently in the game. You MUST have the other player's permission and discuss anything that is off limits up front, and maintain open lines of communication throughout! You don't have to swap bodies one on one if you have a group of three or more who would like to trade. Just make sure every permission is granted and there aren't two people with the same body. See below for having a trade randomized.

2. Random Body. The multiverse is a big place and there are a lot of faces and forms in it. Maybe you wake up looking like Chevy Chase or Lisa Simpson. You can take on a body with powers, but please assume these powers have been limited in some way. The greater the powers the more they will be reduced or restrained. No powers are capable of getting through restricted areas like the warden's building or the dome. Remember bodies don't come complete with weapons. (Unless they do because your arms are actually guns.) Bodies should still fit within the rules and limitations of who we would allow to app into the game. Please ask if you are unsure about a selection. Other castmates and body doubles for yourself and others are allowed, but please discuss with other players where appropriate.

3. Nothing. They were skipped, so their body remains their own. Also known as your opt-out.

Things to remember
• You do NOT take on the character's personality or memories. This is just your character responding to a new body.

• Any crimes committed this day stay with your character, not the body they were occupying and no rules will be waved for this event.

• Any damage (injuries, tattoos, piercings, stomach aches) done to the body during it's stay will be cleaned up by the wardens before it is returned. This will not be known to the characters during the event.

• Your character will wake up wherever they went to sleep. NOT in the location their new body went to sleep.

• On Day 269 everyone wakes up back in their own body.

Extra Icon Journals
Have 500 icon spaces and every one is already full? Yes, you can make a journal just for the swap so you can get 100 new face spaces. You can only post or start a mingle thread with your regular character journal, but every tag thereafter can be from the additional journal.

Randomizer!
We will offer randomization for the body trade if we get more than one person who wants to do it. Sign up here but ONLY if you agree to abide by the randomization. Don't back out on someone, leaving them hanging! You have until Friday at 4pm EST to enter. Then we will use RNG to shuffle people and list the randomized body swaps.
