The world is new and scary and I'm part of it!
Hello people! My name is Olivia and I am completely new to all this. Well, not to writing, or roleplaying. But to livejournal and such, so... I am going to be one giant pain in the behind for a bit before I get the hang of it. Anyhow I'm going to be playing Gwen Cooper from Torchwood, and I am very much looking forward to mixing her about with other people. I have taken her from after Journey's End, but before The Children of the Earth part 1, so she should have a shred of hope for humanity left. I am very happy with her.
Having someone to hide behind when you enter a new community and you're scared as *censorship* is a brilliant thing.
Anyway, I am nervous, as if you couldn't tell, but really looking forward to this! So... Ehm.. Yes.

Hi, I'm Anna and I'm so, so excited to see Gwen here!

I only have Jack, but he keeps me busy enough all by himself, always sticking his nose into things! He's from post CoE and has been at Marina for... must be a couple of months now, game time, so he's been making up for lost time with Ianto, who arrived the same time he did (because Emily and I both arrived from another game) but who is also from around the same time as Gwen so didn't know about his impending death for quite a while, until Jack accidentally let it out thanks to some truth serum in a game event!

Basically, thanks to this peculiar set of circumstances, the boys have grown closer than they ever did in canon and I am really, really looking forward to seeing how Gwen's arrival might shake that up. And, of course, to just seeing Gwen here generally because Gwen is awesome!

Anyway, welcome! Great to have you here! :-)
