How to Join

To join, a character must agree to an interview (which may or may not include mind/emotion reading depending on who is currently on the interview team) and a skills test for the position(s) they are seeking, and must pass all parts.

Please fill out the form below as thoroughly as you see fit. You may also request for the interview and/or skills test to be played out ICly, but it's not mandatory!

Please also state whether or not they would be interested in a leadership position regardless of whether that is available or possible at this time. Certain positions require certain psychological or physical strengths and this is something the interview and skills teams will be paying attention to. Your character may pass the interview, but still require training before they are officially allowed to join a team. If you are seeking a combat role in patrolling and emergency response, do you have a sector preference? <b>Is your character psychologically fit? Please elaborate:</b> Tell us about your characters personality! Are they stressed out easily? How do they handle a crisis? Are they reliable, or more likely to goof off when un-supervised? Mentally stable? The more you tell us, the better! <b>How much of this would the interview team be able to read?:</b> Human error is definitely a thing, and we'd like to leave room for less-than-appropriate members to make the team. If your character is good enough at keeping their micro-expressions in order to slip under the radar of the experienced profiler or can keep certain things hidden through other, possibly superhuman means, this is the place to let us know about that! Please keep in mind that the team is likely to change over time and may include profilers and/or people with superhuman skills able to detect lies or read minds. Be honest and clear in your response so we can evaluate how the current team will see your character. <b>What skills/knowledge/powers/experience does your character possess which would be an asset to the position(s) they are applying for?</b> If you would like to link to a powers write up on your character's journal or your application in this area, you can do so, but please add anything else that would apply specifically to the Defense Force. Do NOT link to a wiki page. <b>How competent is your character in his/her skill set?:</b> Are they known for being the best there is in their world? Do they often make critical errors or freeze under pressure? The tests will vary based on the area being tested, but the administrators will see through someone with poor or mediocre skills. <b>Would you like to play out the interview?:</b> Y/N? In some cases this could increase the time needed to approve your character due to OOC schedules. <b>Would you like to play out the skills test?:</b> Y/N? Once you've responded, one of us will reply to you with questions or information about the team you're on, and then you'll be directed to the roster to fill out basic information.

Please note: This form is only for characters who were not already evaluated in the old system by Gino or Suzaku using files from the warden.
