Day 436 - Morning Greeting
Hello inmates, welcome to Day 436. Looking back into some of the results of the therapy sessions within the dome, we've examined that many people struggle with conveying thoughts through verbal speech. Looking for ways to remedy this, we have made today a hands-on project.

Present within the shops today are a selection of cakes with a variety of messages from the mundane to the deeply insightful. We hope that you feel inclined to select a cake and choose a recipient for it, to whom you can deliver it personally or have one of our drones drop it off. They will be within the dome for the extent of today for this purpose before retiring come tomorrow.

Should you not find the wording for your heartfelt messages existing, there are stations in Sector 0 where you can freely create your own designs to be distributed at your leisure. We hope you have some fun with this.

Oh, and Ms. Smoak? If you have a moment, I thought we could catch that bite to eat. My schedule's open for the afternoon.

[Jaunty tune to close it off.]

Can we just send a cake to ourselves if we want cake?

You could, but wouldn't you rather be sociable?

No, it if it makes you feel better you can write that question on the cake before you send it to me.

No loved ones to send these messages to or through? [He knows you have a wife, mister.]

I believe it's considered endearing to send such things to those you're married to, without required provocation.

It would be if my wife wasn't already obsesssed with baked goods. Your cakes aren't that impressive. Now go resolve your own emotional issues on your own time instead of projecting them onto me.

Perhaps as a woman always catering to others, she'd enjoy being catered to for once? Just a thought.

[...] But I can have that cake delivered to you, if you'd like.

Please do. Good luck salvaging the remains of your own obviously failing marriage.

There were no doubts in the solidity of your marriage, Dr. Phanan. [Unless you have some.] It was simply a suggestion.

You can look forward to a drone dropping by sometime this afternoon, cake in tow.
