_{[ Kirk hadn't been sure what to expect after hearing that announcement that morning. He wasn't necessarily scared of his past or for others to see it, though it did feel like an invasion of privacy. Of splattering their secrets up for everyone and anyone to see and did that make their new overlords any different from the ones before? They just said it nicer.

But regardless of what he thinks, the photos are there, and he can't deny he wants to see. So he dresses, and he goes, finding his spot with ease - mostly thanks to Jaylah and her facial markings. He'd always found them fascinating and beautiful, and he couldn't remember if he'd asked her if they were a natural skin pigmentation or painted on.

He crouches before them, finding a quiet solace in them, though one is crumpled to the ground beside him, the face of a man with cheekbones so sharp you could but yourself on them. ]}

[It was... wow, it was so great to see these photos. To see what this world of Kirk's was like. It was leaps and bounds ahead of what Remy had seen as a kid, of the old tv show, but still some things so familiar. He was able to pick out who was who in the group shots, between uniform colors and features; recognizing the Enterprise both whole and in repair. He couldn't place all the people in the photos, maybe not even link them up to being part of the same group but... wow.

It was all so amazing.

Pulling himself out of his thoughts and the world those photos showed, it was only fair for Remy to address the man they belonged to.] Looks like ya got a bon crew there.

Be a nice thought, non? Even if donno how practical it be with this place. [Remy wasn't even trying to work out how this place worked, how they got here, or if there was a way back.] But will take the positive thinkin' ya got there.

[Changing onto a more pleasant though, rather than thoughts of what Remy had left behind, he tapped a finger against the picture of the Enterprise in pieces.] That her bein' built or repaired?
