Of course she heard him. She was by his side in a flash, staring at all of the pictures posted for everyone to see. His photos...and hers. Moments that no one could have captured.

"How did they....?" It didn't really matter. Whoever ran this place had managed to kidnap Klaus, of all people. A few photos couldn't be that hard to come by.

Gaze settled on the picture of him and his siblings. "...is that you?" A smile played around her lips. "You look so...innocent."

He let out a exasperating sigh, "we both know I've never been innocent," his eyes looked over his younger self, "my family. God even Finn looks smug then," he took the picture off the board, he was going to crumple it up, but instead, slid it into his pocket.

"That," he pointed to the little brunette girl, is my Hope." He had named her perfectly, she was his Hope, his family hope to actually be a family. "I fear for her since I'm not home, but I know Hayley will protect her." His eyes landed on Freya, "that is my older sister who supposedly was died." He looked to Caroline, "Mom lied....again."

	"I didn't say that you actually were." That was how it had come across, though. "Hope...." Her smile widened a hair more at that. "I have two girls of my own. Josie and Lizzie." "I know," he told him, "Ric bought us a bone we needed" he nodded his head, not the biggest fan, "I know about the girls, he offered Hope a spot, but I rather keep her closer to me."

He looked over at her "Freya, Finn, Elijah, Kol and Rebekah and Henrik," he sighed, "that was us." He shook his head and pulled the present family picture down, folding it for Hope could be seen and placed it in his pocket.

Which only served to remind Caroline of something. "I never thanked you. For the money and the letter." It would have been nice to see him in person but she supposed he had his reasons for staying away. "If you ever change your mind I think that more than covers tuition." It was said slightly teasingly.

"I never wanted any siblings." That too was said with a smile, Caroline nudging him lightly.

He arched a brow, smirked slightly, "You know I don't do favors," he reminded her, he most likely send Hope to Caroline when he needed her safe, she was the only one, out of of his family he would trust his daughter with.

"I did," he said sadly, he had always loved his family fiercely, especially Bex, Elijah, and now Freya. "When we get out of here, you should come visit, I think you would like Freya." He moved to pull the picture of Cami down, again, folding it to put in his pocket.

	"I'm sorry." And Caroline had dealt with enough loss that she meant it honestly. Though if the sudden subject change were anything to go by, it meant that Klaus didn't particularly want to talk about it. "Yeah....over here." 	"You didn't really give her much reason to love you," Caroline answered. Her mother had seen the worst he had to offer, including the death of her oldest friend, and Tyler's mom. She flushed, though, at the mention of their picture. "Yeah," she answered. "There we are." Along with all of the other men she'd been involved with. It made quite the sizeable display.
