	"Do you think they do this to upset people? I've seen lots of people swearing today." He's been lounging on the table nearby, and just waking up with a nap, he spotted Felicity and walked over. He glances up at the photos and grunts, too much stuff, too many photos to really focus on anything. If they were video it would be easier for him. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

She reaches out, her hand stopping just short of her own pictures as she frowns. The little creases in her brows are back. It's like today has been designed to cause her unending heartache and worry. All the emotions that she can't quite identify and isn't sure how to express just welling up inside her.

Hearing Shadow's voice slightly pulls her back out of her thoughts and her eyes away from the photos. "I don't think they know they're doing it." She's pretty sure that this was supposed to make them all feel better. To know that there's a future beyond this and to remember the past that some of them collectively share. She's not sure that they realize that many of these photos are private moments for that -would be private moments when they happen. That these are things they wouldn't want shared.

"Probably not, they're pretty stupid." Shad replies as he squints at the displays, trying to spot someone he is familiar with. Felicity, Remy, Jack, or even himself. He looks up at the next one over and spots something familiar.

"Hey! It's me!" He reaches up for the photo of a boy riding a lion on a cliff, looking out to sea.

"Look, Felicity." He turns it to show her. "See?"

For a moment she's back at her own photos, mulling over what the ones she doesn't know might mean. What certain events that they seem to depict might mean. Her fingers ghost over the smiling face of Oliver. She didn't actually know he could smile so brightly. It was, it was nice. Knowing that there would be a time - any time in the future where he would be able to smile like that filled her with warmth.

"Huh?" She turns to look at the photo that Shadow is showing her. It's a boy on a lion. Clearly the boy is Shadow. So he really was once just a kid. He also looks about as young as she thought he was. Just a kid stuck here and told that he's a bad person. That had to be hard on him. She puts on a smile for him. After all, the picture is cute.

"I kinda like you better with the fur." A light tease, but it would be weird if he just suddenly became human again.

He looks up at her staring at the picture of Oliver, a very complex expression on her face, and they're kissing? He snorts with wince on his face because yuk.

But yes, he grins like an idiot when his attention returns to the photo and turns it around to look at it again. It's made his day to see himself and Orion again, she probably has no idea how good it makes him feel just to have some kind of image of who he really is.

"Aw, well. I guess." He says when she makes that remark. He looks a bit sheepish, but still clearly excited. There's more than just this, right?

"If we were to be separated, at least one of us would still have fur." He meant that the lion and boy were collectively 'him'.

"So then you're actually two people?" That seemed odd. Two people, or a boy and a lion combined into one body. She couldn't even start to imagine the pain in that. Still, Shadow seemed to had learned to handle it just fine.

"And don't worry about the fur, you're cute with or without it." After all, she didn't want to hurt the kid's ego, and Shadow would be Shadow to her in any form.

She might start to be able to imagine it considering over Shad's shoulder there's a scene like out of a werewolf movie right behind him, with a child about the same age as the boy in photo mid-morph between human and beast, and a strange lion shaped cloud swirling around him.

Shad doesn't notice, since he's talking to her. Right next to it, is a picture of the same boy and a woman in an embrace. Someone related to him?

"It's weaponized cuteness." He says in a cheeky tone.

"Yeah?" She notices the pictures of him. Ouch. Well, the one at least. The second seems to be a sweet picture. One that, if she were Shadow, she might want to frame. There are other ones, one of him as a huge lion-man. That seemed like something distracting. "I could see that. Though apparently not so cute as an adult."

She uses her other hand to point out the picture of him as an adult, the other hand pulling down the offending picture and stowing it in her skirt. "You've got the whole big and fuzzy thing going on. Like a teddy bear."

As an adult? He turns his attention to where Felicity is pointing and his eyes go wide in surprise. Not a bad thing, just totally surprised by the photo of him as an adult, in armor. That's so cool.

"I guesso. That's a lot of hair. Almost as much as Orion had." He says, then casting his eyes at the other images on the board. Oh. He exhales and frowns, turning his head away, seeing another photo. One of some strange insect like cyborg caressing his face with a claw.

He sighs.
