DAY 426 — Morning Greeting
Good morning, previous - erm, inmates... New collective? Sounds a little bit nicer, but it's up to you what you'd like to be called. I'd be interested to hear your suggestions. [What do you want to identify as, MarinaNovians? Where do you feel you stand now? It's fascinating.]

You may have noticed a few new changes overnight, one more subtle than the other. We removed the sentinel presence from the dome as it was feeling obsolete. Much like some technology of yours we've updated, replacing your previous headset system with a device and accessory modeled more closely to smartphones you may be accustomed to. This now allows for voice, video and text posts. I know this is a sudden change, but you've already acclimated to so much I'm sure you can handle it.

Oh yes, and I believe you like to finish these things off with a tune.

It occurs to me that the education center could use an upgrade.

So since you're taking requests and clearly you have all of our best interests and needs in mind, how about we fix that by installing some tech for everyone to use? Fits the whole concept of self improvement.

That said, Palmer tech has industrial fabrication technology that should be easy enough to code in and implement, as well as the terminals which would allow anyone to pursue high tech engineering. Alongside my ATOM suit, that would be my request.

Although thankfully for you I think I'd be reasonable satiated with this.

[Part of him is just happy to give Jaden more work to do. Otherwise he just wants the equipment to actually be able to work to his fullest potential engineering wise.]

If you'd like to take on the task of improving the education center yourself with already available materials, feel free. You and Ms. Smoak perhaps can work together to bring our clearly sub par standards up to a level acceptable to you both.

Dome 'upgrades' are on an as-needed basis right now but should an astounding need for high tech engineering classes arise we will reconsider - so it's a no on that for now. Your ATOM suit, as politely requested before, will be considered in due time as it's not an astounding necessity. Apologies if this makes you less than reasonably satiated.

	Which means build everything from scratch which is an engineering feat onto itself. That's pretty disappointing actually. [Which means he needs to either get lots of people enthusiastic about engineering or do it himself.] As long as there's nothing stopping us. Is there any place with raw materials available? 	That depends on your definition of raw material, Mr. Palmer. There isn't much excess within the dome so I suggest you work with consideration of fellow inmates in mind should you decide to salvage anything.
