Day 422 [Closed Action | Chekov]
[Kitty leaves her apartment while it's still dark out. The strange music and fog aren't lost on her. It's giving off strong creepy vibes and adding to the drama of the moment. Clearly, the wardens are up to something today. In fact, she's half expecting raptors as she crosses the dome, but she doesn't let her stop her. She thinks she's feeling clear headed, not that you ever really know until the next day, but in this case she's right. She's also lucky, because there is plenty of nightmare fodder in her mind to play with. Maybe they wanted more of a challenge.

After a brisk walk she reaches Chekov's apartment and knocks on the door, realizing that she's probably waking him at this hour, but she really needs to see him.]

	[There are a lot of things she needs to say and she honestly didn't expect to start or end or include what she just said, but she doesn't regret it either. It felt right and it's out and she's very content to just kiss him and hold him tight right now. [He's so glad that she said it. So, so glad. There have been more than a few times when he doubted that she could ever want him the way that he wants her, and now those doubts have been put to rest.

That makes him want her all the more. He wants her and needs her and loves absolutely everything about her and the best way to express that is to take control of this kiss in a way that he never does.]

Chekov's boldness fades a little once his brain starts to catch up and reminds him that he has an incomplete picture of what's going on here. He still wants her, though, if this is what she wants too. But first he needs a moment to breathe.]

[They have. Maybe Jack when she was phasing off his clothes once? Probably best not to mention that. But she's not thinking about Jack or Reid or Tyki or Piotr right now.

She's smiling down at Chekov, looking very touched by what he just said even though she's heard it before. This time she just gets to enjoy it. There's not guilt of not saying it back or being unsure if she was ready.]

I love you three. [Another kiss, more playful this time.]

[You know, she just got to love, she wasn't really ready to go into infinity squared or anything. Maybe in a week or two?

In the meantime, clothes keep coming off, touching and kissing keeps happening and they get all the additional they could want until they are collapsed back into bed with a sheet covering them as their ability to breathe is still coming back under control.]

I agree. [First time in a long time period. Kitty is also only the second person he has been with even if dreams and other warden shenanigans are factored in, which... is slightly embarrassing, actually, considering how long he was home. He snuggles close and gives her a couple of lazy kisses.]

He has to just... pause for a moment and let this be real. Kitty loves him. She wants him. She's next to him and smiling and she looks truly, genuinely happy. He should definitely kiss her again before he has a chance to say anything else stupid, but.]

I would follow you anywhere you asked me to, to any universe. Wherever you want to go. [It might be a silly thing to say since she has nowhere else to go. It's never been true before, though, so it's worth being said.]

You definitely passed something that wasn't a test. No tests for you. [At least none she gives him knowingly. It wouldn't exactly be outside the realm of reason she'd do that unconsciously. She's been hurt and betrayed and her trust has stretched to it's outermost limits so there is a certain amount of protective instincts that kick in. Like someone who puts up an arm to guard their face when they've been hit a lot. But for her it might be something like pushing them to see if they stick around. It's not a reaction she likes in herself, but she comes by it honestly.]

Mmm...not on it's own. Could just be a weird theme backdrop to something else that is dangerous or maybe what you hear and see is what you get, and it's just eerie day. I expected raptors on the way over. No raptors.

[If he wants her in Star Fleet it may mean taking time off for going back to teach for awhile so she has time to go through the training herself. Or getting her permission to live on the ship and moving with him without officially being Star Fleet. If they manage it there will be things to work out. She wouldn't want to spend that time apart.]
